Remarks

Though the faculty and the college atmosphere is appropriate for the proper growth of students lack of hostel facilities and placement cells creates problems for the students. The canteen on the other hand is quite good with reasonable prices for food stuff and therefore making it available for all.The quantity and quality too is satisfactory enough with goid enough seating space to accommodate maximum number of students. The college socities are quite well managed with an abundance of talent and skills.by the students along with a proper decorum.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is quite well planned. The classes are scheduled in a way that it doesn't bore the students or make the students feel burdened. It is easy going schedule easy to manage by all students and is effective enough to give required time to each subject and finishing of the syllabus in time .The exam schedule is in a very similar is properly planned and gives enough time to the students for the thorough revision of the topics. The time gap between exams is reasonable.

Placement Experience

0.5

This is one of the dark sides of mathematics department in motilal nehru college with no placement opportunities for students.Students need to pre plan their careers after the completion of the course graduation with no career opportunities from the college campus.

College Events

4

There is a proper celebration of department freshers, college Freshers, college fests ,farewell for third year students so that students of different departments may interact and mingle with each other. It brings about a friendly atmosphere and exposure of talents in various fields.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible enough for the first two years though there is a bit rise in fee furing the third year which might cause some problem to students with not a strong financial background.Other than that the fee is quite reasonable. With am approx value of 6000 for first year,7000 for second year and 11000 for third.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not a very proper scholarship facility is available though there is certain arrangements and polocies for fee concession. This side isn't much explored by me but as per my knowledge it is a bit typical task to apply for loans and fee concessions in the college.

Campus Life

4

The labs are well maintained making the instruments and systems accessible for all. There is a separate lab available for each course as per the requirement with up to date instruments required. The capacity of each lab is around 30 to 40 students at a time with the lab assistants cooperative enough to resolve problems with the devices if any.

Hostel Facilities

4

No hostel facility is available in motilal nehru college which is a realbissue to deal with for many students and sometimes leafing to drop of idea to study in the same college as mentioned above.Search for pgs and flats isnt a very convenient and much suggested approach for outsiders.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are quite helpful and friendly. There support makes it easy for adjusting well during the early days of the college for the freshers. They have a easy to get along with attitude and are helpful with the provision of study material along with the guidance of appropriate approach to study each subject.

Admission

After confirming my eligibility through 12th marks percentage cut-off for my admission in motilal nehru college, I came to the college for the admission process. We were directed towards mathematics lab and the faculty plus the helping staff were cooperative enough for easy and fast admission here.We had to submit original documents for class 10th and 12th board marksheets and an identification certificate for instance aadhar card along with the photocopies of the same.It was a simple process.

Faculty

5

The faculty is quite efficient here .The professors excel in their respective fields and are oceans of knowledge in the same. They are cooperative enough and easily approachable to clear doubts and problems faced by any student.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
