Remarks

There is not a negative side of BNC that I noticed during my time. BNC and its faculty members with all of its students are a family all together and the memories. We made through our journey is something worth remembering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

BNC does have a unique approach towards course curriculum. Our college provides a variety of subjects for one to go for. We did have half yearly exams held at our college and there was yearly exam for our gradution programme.

Placement Experience

3

No, our college doesn't provide internship. BNC provides a scope for its students to learn in a better way. Our college does have few stipend process for students of good merit. One can apply for it if eligible. Also as our college is a government college, its fees structure relatively low.

College Events

5

There are a lot of events celebrted in our college. We have freshers programme for newcomers at the start of the session. Then there are quite a few cultural events like seminars, college fest. Everyone takes part and have great fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ours is a government college. So, its fees structure is actually low.there are a small amount of money for monthly fees that we paid. It was around 200 rupees per month and then there was admission at the start of the season.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are few merit based scholarship that BNC offers. Two of those are govt. Scholarships that our college helps one to get. Other organigations also have tie up with our college. So one also does have a chance to apply for it.

Campus Life

5

We have excursion programmes organised by college departments. And every dept of the branch of science have their own well maintained and well structured labs. BNC has its ground for everyone to participate in sports. Our college takes part in inter-college tournaments and other state and national level competitions.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I did not opt for hostel. And our college does not provide hostel facilities. But there are few hostels nearby where students can apply with the help of our college to get applied. And with college's help, it will be easy for one to get one.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an active alumni network that always helps others and also take part in college activities actively. Senior students also have quite a good reputation of helping juniors in times of need. Juniors can easily get help and be at ease with the help of their seniors.

Admission

After my higher secondary exam, I applied to few colleges for admission. One of those was Bidhannagar College (BNC). A few days later they published merit list amd as I was selected, I was called for seminar. I attended the seminar and got admitted.

Faculty

4.5

Every department of our college consists of a great number of professors who are outstanding in their process to teach. They taught us in a way that was simple and easy to understand. They also taught us to process our learning in a various way.

Who gets admitted in which course is completely a personal matter. No matter which course one gets admitted in, studies are good in all the courses. There are many experienced teachers in this college. Exam time is 3 hours. Teachers always help students in their studies.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
