Information about UIT

There are so many positive remarks like cooperation of teachers as well as behavior of faculties and seniors. The negative point is that the infrastructure should be improved. Also there is one thing which should be improved is placement for core branches.

The curriculum of course of fine. It's really interesting and totally relevant to my subject course. The structure of exam is like per semester there are two internals and one semester examination.

The placement of my college is satisfactory. However the placement record of core departments are not so good but overall it is fine. And internship is available for all the students whether they are from core or other departments.

There are so many events celebrated in my college. Such as Teachers day , Vishwakarma puja and cultural fest and tech fest. Also Independence and republic day are celebrated every year. Plantation programs are organised.

The fee structure is feasible and not so expensive. But as compared to other government engineering colleges the fee structure is a little bit expensive. For students who belong to underprivileged section , it is a little bit tough to pay fee.

For scheduled tribes and scheduled castes there are various schemes. Also for domicile students there is a huge rebate in fee structure but for non domicile students there is no any benefit available.

There are extra curricular activities available for students. Activities include induction program for freshers students. Also activities include poster making competition are also held on various occasion.

Yes , the alumni are in touch with us. They helped us too much since first year. They helped us regarding exams patterns of college and how to proceed in future. How to adapt ourselves in college and various things.

Through the entrance exam of West Bengal joint entrance exams. After examination there is a counselling related to departments selection. After counselling admission procedure carried out for further admission procedure.

The faculty of college are very cooperative. They are always willing to help students at any time. Whether it is related to academic or personal problems. They always do everything for the welfare of students.
