Remarks

The college autonomic designation provides a semester wise exam to each student result a student can receive the sem result after as soon as a 1 month after the main exam so that if he or she had failed in exam she or he don't have to wait for a long time to write the supplementary examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Even the college had an autonomous designation it's still following the syllabus as guided by the mahatma Gandhi university. Exams are conducted sem wise. Every student have to attend 3 exams in a semester as internals and the last semester exam.

Placement Experience

3

The college provide well-defined placement cell which guide the students, mould them enable them to get a good job after completing their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.the placement cell demands little fee from every student who joined the college at the time of admission so that he or she will be able to attend the placement interviews conducted by the college in cooperation with large number of IT companies, banks etc.

College Events

5

The first ever program in academic year is the college Union election the college even though had is autonomic designation is still conducting the elections. After election the concerned Union is taken show the first academic program will be an oath taking ceremony of the winning Union.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government aided college the college provide very much less AFI as compared to a private college college. The fee structure is strictly followed Asif guided by the mahatma Gandhi university which work on the basis of government infrastructure. The college also have both aided and unaided apartments. Students in a department is only charging very less CSS examination fee and semester fee also the college provide fee concession for reserved categories.

Fees and Financial Aid

College scholarship cell which would collect the proper ideas as well as news about latest scholarships then this news is been main to reach to every student with the help of the concerned department. Teachers are selected as nominees for guiding and helping the students to apply for scholarship accurately without getting rejected.

Campus Life

5

The college clearly supports extra curricular activities. College had arts club, nature club and MJJSM( CHARITY). Also college provide very much attention to extra curricular activities after sports as during admission criteria in admission criteria we have special quota named as sports quota 4 students who had performed well in state level national level can attain admission there.

Hostel Facilities

3

I don't opted for hostel house my house is less than 1.5 kilometres from the college itself. Actually the college provides hostel facilities for for girls. call Edison provided boys hostel are due to certain reasons but they are providing hostel and facilities for sports students who worked out there and who used to play for the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors and teachers nominees are very much helpful my college as when we had any doubt about the curriculum academy against anything we can cclearly ask them without embarrassing. Senior students are very much helping engaging the junior students.

Admission

First of all one who seek admission there should register sepeartly in the college web site. After providing the correct details both personal and academic a chellan is printed from the site itself and the student have to pay it in the concerned bank. After paying the chellan he/she should give a copy of the paid chellan with all the academic certificates to the college. Then the final merit list will be uploaded in the same website.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of our college is at its peak. It had gained the NAAC A+ grade. Infrastructure is good mar athanasius college is one of the famous college in Ernakulam District being in such a position in a overcrowded district like Ernakulam the college and its management is very much trying hard to keep the infrastructures and the facilities to students at its peak level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
