Remarks

No, the college and the management was fair enough to the students

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course syllabus was very vast, which was thought to a hurdle those days but now i could feel the knowledge i have on the subject, my roots are strong. Eventhough the course was a professional one, the struggle was huge to get a job.No industrial visits were planned during the time nor campus selection programmes.

Placement Experience

3

we had courses like MBA in the college. so i remember when Keltron came for campus interview some of my fellowmates went and attended for fun, and two of them even got placed, but to my knowledge none of them joined

College Events

3.5

The college celebrates all the programs periodically, the arts fest, sports, workshops, women cell programs, national and international seminars.students and faculties from various colleges attend the programs.talks of pronounced persons are organized.APJ Abdul Kalam has visited the college in 2010.

Fee Structure And Facilities

we had a semester fee of approximately 32K,any mode was acceptible at the college,i usually pay in cash and also my friends. No admission fees were demanded by the college, exam fees were separate apart from semester fees.no transparency in fee-breakdown was observed

Fees and Financial Aid

i didnot avail any fellowship but one of my friends who was a single girl child got fellowships, and since our course was a self financing one there was no reduction in fees.

Campus Life

4.5

our course usually has less number of male candidates than females,we have 6 boys and all others girls, the college life was so cherishable and interesting, the college is a green campus, less polluted and litter free.the politics was comparatively weak compared to other colleges as the management was a strict one.

Hostel Facilities

4

No i was a day scholar, but i have visited the hostel when i went to see my friends and also i stayed there a night after our tour.the rooms were spacious, very neat and clean, the bathrooms were not attached, the warden is so good at the time very strict and caring.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini meets are conducted regularly eventhough i couldnot be part of it due to leave issues. our seniors were very cooperative and provided enough care to as academically.

Admission

this college id one of the oldest and best college in the district, so after UG completion there was no choice other than M.A.wrote the entrance exam, got a good score but due to the fear of losing the seat took admission before allotment. The course was a self-financing one so there was no need of wait.

Faculty

4.5

No words could describe our HOD, Dr.Anu Yamuna Joseph, she was so enthusiastic and dedicated herself for students. She had a great knowledge on the subject that we all did our project works in the college, usually, others have options to go other institutes. We have well trained facultities for each subject.A total of 9 lecturers were there to teach us.

I choosed to study msc applied psychology in kerala university. Because it offers my interested specialization ( organizational behaviour) . The course provides three specializations - clinical , industrial and educational. As it is applied psychology it equipes us to become more practical.I wish the placement cell to be more efficient in our university. Because the placements they offers are limited

We have a special post in every fields. Course is doing only theory build up and less in concentrating the practical application side of the theory we have studied.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Its so helpful for us to complete our exam nicely...

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).
