Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculums are good overall . The syllabus is quite intresting and fits our needs . There is a feild work required which is quite nice as well as it requires is to go out of the campus and explore the outside world on the perspective of our subject

Fees and Financial Aid

Its 11250 for per sem in the self finance department and the aided department has a fee about 2500-3000 . Those are the merit students . There are few scholarships provided and students get around 12000 rupees for it . We have to pay a deposit of 12000 while joining the college and around 8000 will be payed back as rhe deposit if no damages were made . They do have special catogories like st sc and lakshwadeep students in our college . As its managed by muslim quota a majority of the students are muslims .

Campus Life

5

Overall experience id say was amazing . Alot of fun programs activitws sports trips and was totally amazing. There is various cultural festivals where everyone can dance and aing and express their talents . And sports fests where we can show our athletic skills and it raises a sense of sportsman spirit in all of us and various department based programs where we set up stalls and do buisness and inter department competitions are all quite fun .

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel rooms were neat and big . It was very spacious and bed and the fans are all working well . But the hostel timing were quite partial to boys . The washrooms were cleaned often but still at times they get clogged up and flushes dont work properly making it was gross . And the food at times r okay but most time it tasted like chlorine and it was hard to eat and at tomes insects were found in the food

Admission

I first opted for devagiri cmi college but i wasnt able to get a seat in psychology department. I wanted psychology so i was not ready to join another course . Then the second option was farook college as it seem to he quite popular here and everyone keeps boasting about it and it was quite near my home so mom suggested that it would b easier for me to go nd come

Faculty

4

I would say that the college is very short staffed and most of them are not permanent. The often changing of the staff make it very hard for the stidents as we often end up with missing portions and not being abke to complete them . Most facilities are approchable and friendly and we make a good connection with them . Some rare of them are quite judgy . Students pass most of the exams most of then fail in statistics but the facilities teaching it is good most students find it hard to study maths after opting for humanities in there higher secondary .

Night Life

1

There is no gym or other facilities. Id say the night life is very bad for girls because our hostel time is 6pm wnd any time after that we cant enter our hostels . So thats the night life we have . Meanwhile boys dont havr any restrictions do they can roam around and do whatever they want . Even if non hosteler girls are seen around campus after 6 the securities will send us home . And no facilities are available are night . Only library till 6 . There is a gym but thats only for the students in sports categories not accessible for everyone

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
