Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

For me, botany was not my first choice as major . But after I joined ,I could get to know most of the things about plants and it keeps getting interesting. The most fun part are the field trips that you gets to go . It's not about learning from the book but the earth .The course curriculum helps you through that

Fees and Financial Aid

The Farook college provides you e-grands if you achieved the admission through merit and not through any reservations. But as my Mother is a government employee, they couldn't provide me e-grants.So I had to pay tution fees at the beginning of every year . The amount you have to pay depends on your course .For me , as a student who is majoring in botany ,I had to pay around 3000/- every year including tuition fees. But if you are a self financing student you have pay around 12000/- each semester

Campus Life

4.5

I can promise you that ,If you are looking for a college where you'll get great campus life ,Farook college is one of the best ones. We have a lot of clubs like steps and vibez for you to focus on your talents . I can promise you that your life won't be limited in your class . You'll get a lot of friends and you could connect with them

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I'm a second year student . I stayed at college hostel in my first year . For girls, hostel is pretty restricted. You'll have a curfew at 6 PM .Sometimes the food is great and sometimes it's not . But overall it is pretty affordable and you'll have decent facilities. When I became a second year student ,I rented a house near college and it is pretty affordable too .Hostel doesn't have to be your first choice because there's a lot of PGs available here .Mine is just 5 minutes walking distance

Admission

When I was growing up, I heard a lot about farook college through my cousins and friends. For most of them, it was their dream college .When I was applying for bachelors,it was one of the colleges that first came to my mind. When I got into this college ,I was really happy .

Faculty

4

Most of the faculties helps you a lot .They do everything in their jurisdiction for your improvement. As Farook college is an autonomous one ,the exams and results are always up to date . So you can always prepare for your exams .

The B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics curriculum at St.Teresa's College is comprehensive, focusing on practical applications and advanced topics . However more hands on experience and updated teaching methods could enhance learning. Exam frequency is reasonable, but some could be more challenging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology is a booming industry in the world. I had selected this course hoping to achieve a successful career here in India. Little did I know that biotechnology had not picked up its pace yet in India. The exams conducted was frequently with 1 or 2 model exams in each semester for theoretical and practical. This helped us to have enough basic knowledge when we finally pass out. It would be better if more internships and industrial visits are included in the syllabus. It would give a better idea about our future. It will also help us to boost our resume. The jobs in biotechnology offers low salary here but large varities of experience can be gained. This helps us to have a better career outside of India.

St. Berchmans is definitely one of the top rated arts and degree college existing in Kerala. There are various opportunities for students in improve at various fronts. But at the same time, the college doesn't provide much actual support for the students for their after college life. This poses as a great difficulty and confusion for students completing their UG or PG from this place.
