While both colleges provide decent overall experiences, I’d personally lean towards MNNIT Allahabad if you’re passionate about computer science and want to tap into the booming tech industry; however, if you prefer a less intense academic atmosphere with a focus on core engineering, NIT Trichy might be the better choice for you.

You should opt for NIT Trichy B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering! When it comes to placements, the branch matters more than the institute. Many NITs have impressive placement records, often better than some IITs. NITs are not low-tier institutes.

So, I wouldn't consider the core branches of new IITs as a good option.
