JEE Advanced 2026 Total Marks are 360 for both papers 1 and 2. There has been no specific change in the marking scheme or exam pattern in JEE Advanced 2026 since last year. JEE Advanced 2026 is conducted by IIT Guwahati on May 26, 2026.

A peculiar characteristic of JEE Advanced exam is that it has an undefined exam pattern. The number of questions, marking scheme, and types of questions may change every year. However, this year, JEE Advanced exam pattern is identical to last year's paper pattern.

JEE Advanced 2026 total marks for each paper, i.e., paper 1 and paper 2 is 180 respectively. Paper 1 has 4 sections with a total of 17 questions and 60 marks for each physics, chemistry and mathematics respectively. Similarly, paper 2 has the same pattern structure. Therefore, the sum of paper 1 and paper 2 total marks is 360.

JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Characteristics

JEE Advanced 2026 is an online examination consisting of two papers, paper 1 and paper 2. It is obligatory for students to appear for both papers to get selected for admissions to prestigious IITs. The exam runs for 3 hours for each paper, with a 2-hour break in between. The exam is conducted in English and Hindi with three subjects, namely physics, chemistry and mathematics.
