The KEA has released the KCET 2026 provisional answer key on 27 April 2026 on its official website, kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates who have appeared for the KCET exam can now download the subject-wise answer key PDF and check their scores.

• KEA has also opened an objection window, and candidates can raise objections against the provisional key till 30 April 2026.
• It allows candidates to cross-check their responses and calculate estimated scores before the declaration of results.

KCET 2026 Score Calculation

The exam will be conducted as a pen and paper-based test for a duration of 80 minutes for each paper. Each Paper- Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry will be conducted for 60 marks each. Each paper will consist of 60 MCQs. The KCET score is calculated based on the number of correct answers. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted questions.

KCET Good Score

Candidates with a score of 170+ out of 180 can get a rank below 10 in KCET 2026. A score of 150 and above can also be considered a Good Score in KCET, which can get aspirants a rank below 1000.
