How to Challenge KCET Answer Key 2024?

The official has released the portal for raising objections against KCET answer key on April 30, 2024. No request will be accepted after the stipulated time, i.e., May 07, 2024. Here are the steps to challenge the KCET Answer Key:

• It is mandatory to attach a proof of justification against your objection. Gather the justification before filing the same
• If you want to report in online method, then login with your name, application number, and date of birth
• If you want to report against any answer in the KCET Answer Key in person, then visit the KEA office with the required justification proof and details- name, roll number and address.
• If you have to file an objection against the KCET Answer key via mail, then send an email at keauthority-ka@nic.in
• Mention your written request underlying your objection including your name, roll number and address.
• Mention the subject and question number of the Master Question paper along with the justification in the mail.
• Do not forget to keep the subject of the mail as- "CET 2024 – Objection – Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics"

The subject expert committee will analyze the answers and will decide the course of action. The decision of the committee is considered final and binding. 

KCET 2024 Objection to Questions

KEA has opened KCET 2024 Objection to Question window from April 19 to April 27, 2024. This window has been opened in response to the complaint received by KEA where it was reported that 15-20% of the paper was asked from the deleted syllabus of KCET. 17 questions from Maths paper and 10 questions in Biology paper are from the deleted syllabus of KCET 2024.

Those who want to raise objections against these out of syllabus questions can do so by submitting valid reasons through an email addressed to keaugcet24@gmail.com. You must submit the objections including proper details such as the Subject Version Code and Question Number. KCET Answer Key 2024 Score Calculation

KCET question papers usually consist of 16 sets, these sets are A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, B2, B3, B4, C1, C2, C3, C4, D1, D2, D3, and D4. Each question paper is of multiple choice objective types questions.

• These four versions of each paper from A1-A4, B1-B4, C1-C4, and D1-D4 are mentioned on the top of the question paper. The different versions of the same subject question paper consist of the same questions but in a different order.

• Step 2: Once you have downloaded the answer key, check each question and answer mentioned on the answer key with the option selected on the OMR sheet. 
• Step 3: Count each correct answer in the OMR sheet.
• Step 4: Since each question carries one mark in KCET 2024, the total number of questions marked correct is your score in the subject. 
• Step 5: Once you have checked all the subjects and papers, add the total for the subjects you appeared for.

KCET 2024 OMR Answer Sheet

KCET 2024 is conducted as an OMR based test. This OMR Answer Sheet (Optical Mark Reader) is used for marking answers in the exam. 

• This OMR sheet for KCET comprises of two pages.
  • The upper sheet is the OFFICE COPY that is collected by the Invigilator after the conclusion of the exam. This copy is the actual sheet which is used for the final marking. 
  • The lower sheet is the CANDIDATE COPY which is returned to the candidate after the exam. Candidates are advised to keep safe both the question paper and OMR sheet booklet pdf. 
• The top section of KCET OMR answer sheet is meant for details such as candidates’ name, KCET application number, and version code of the question paper. 
• The bottom section is meant for candidates’ and Invigilator’s signature and the left hand thumb impression of the candidate which is added at the end of the exam. 
•  It is is important to note that the circles corresponding to the letter or number of the OMR sheet must be shaded using blue or black ink ballpoint pen only.
