KCET 2026: Kannada Language Test
Kannada Language Test for Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be
conducted only in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangalore.
- The minimum passing marks for candidates shall be 12 out of 50 marks.
- The Kannada Language Test paper will be of the 4th Standard Level.
- Candidates giving the language test will have to appear for the KCET 2026 in a test centre located at Bengaluru, Belagavi, Bijapura, and Mangalore only.
However, Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates who have studied 10 full academic years in Kannada Medium from 1st standard to 10th standard in places outside the state of Karnataka need not appear for the Kannada Language Test.
