- They are very flexible and supportive about interacting with students.
- The scholarships that you can get is inspire , from this scholarship you can get around 60k per year.
- The hostels are neat and clean with the registration process for hostels is british smooth the hostels are affordable the mess food is quite good and its better than any other colleges the best food is the best.
Dislikes
- Initially someone can struggle to understand mathematics and hate it maybe
- the department of biolopgy is maybe not that good
- no on campus placement option so cant say much about placement

Transportation is a major problem in this area. The Institute is setup besides of NH-34. There was no other transport service excluding Bus(No. 27) for connecting with Kalyani Railway Station.

Basically the college provides very good faculty and staff. The management is lacking behind in some aspects.But surely that would be covered in coming years.As per the standard of college is concerned there should be a swimming pool.The management about remaining construction is worst. The government has stopped the funds due to which the construction is stopped.

The location of IISER-Kolkata is very remote which creates difficulties in direct integration of facilities with IACS, Jadavpur University etc. I would rate it as a good college overall and it teaches you not just the coursework but also how to be a good
