even there is availability of smart projectors, teachers dont use it often

The faculty is okay and appreciable. But sometimes there are some faculty members who are not honest with the students and are harsh on them, doesnt avail much. For best faculties i would consider the canteens as i like the food and that one stationary guy who is very helpful. The library is huge and is full of recources, books, documents etc. A full detail of any courses of books are available in the library.

Academics IIM Indore offers multiple programs ranging from the undergraduate level to doctoral programs (Ph.D). The courses are mostly spread across three terms in a year, with a fixed number of credits and sessions for each course and term. The curriculum is rigorous and there is a system of DCPs if a student fails in a course. Academic dishonesty is prohibited and an F is awarded for such cases. All the courses have relative grading and academic performance is a key component in the overall scenario. Time table is structured such that professors can take classes in any slot from 9 am till 9 pm everyday as all the programs are residential. Faculty A Ph.D. is necessary for all the core subject professors, for electives it depends on the department of the subject. There are professors who have their degrees from ISI, IITs, IIMs and other top universities of respective domains. After classroom interactions and research projects with professors is a common phenomenon. There are teaching associates with subject-specific specializations to help the students and faculty in academic tasks and evaluation purposes.

My College Experience in St. Edmund's College

The teachers and students are friendly in nature. Hence, we can approach our teachers and ask for help any time we want.

The faculty members are divided department wise in our college. the faculty members in our department are friendly abd approachable. we can ask help from them any time we want. they are ready to help either online or offline mode. therefore we doesn't face problems approaching our teachers in the department. we have 10 faculty members in our department, and currently we have 1500 students in our department, which is divided into 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters. I like all the faculty members from our department. they're are friendly in nature, approachable and adaptive with the students. there's no faculty member that i dislike from our department. university based we have only one exam, which is the final exam for each semester. College based, our college provide monthly test which is conducted every last week of the month, and internal test which will help in our finals. The college provide monthly test to prepare the students for the finals. the level of difficulty is average, since the questions are based on the past year question papers. the pass percentage is more than the fail percentage in our college. example out of 100 students only 2 students will fail, the rest are passed.

My sweet short journey!

The faculties were amazing, friendly, caring and mostly importantly a true mentor. Compared to other colleges in india , Shillong is a city where people are very kind with each other. During my tenure I never felt the generational gap with teachers.

The teaching faculty is good , infact very good, you can go ask for any help you want both studies and personal. They are always open to guild you. But the non teaching stuff like the one who take cares of admission processes they seem to be very rude for no reason at all. Personally, I never had any bad experiences (yet) but I happen to hear a lot about them being rude to students. So better to be safe.

The Perks of College Life

I fell in love with the environment.It feels healthy.The infrastructures are great.The Professors in my department are friendly so for an introvert like me,it is the best.The principal and the staffs are nice.Topnotch extracurricular activities.

The faculties are the absolute best.They are so friendly.We became friends with them in a short span.My teachers in my department are the best.They listen to our opinions with true intentions so that makes us build our confidence to speak up.One time I was sick and I called my teacher,she helped me and even bought me soup and told me to call her if I need someone to accompany me to the hospital since my family lives in another state. So we have internal tests before every semester exams.The difficulty level is average but it helps us cover for our semester exam as well.We also have class tests in between classes.We have semester exams which is on an average-difficult level.After that,we have practicals,mostly those included in classes.

St Edmund's college- A bliss

Faculty to student ratio is good ..in my department there are 5 professors and all these 5 professors teach around 60 students a batch.. Faculty is I very good I have no complaints..exam is conducted by Northeastrn hill University as the college is affiliated to it..we get good results and we have toppers from our college every year.

My college experience

Faculty members of the college are good. Very approachable, kind and frank. The psychology, education, english and sociology are the ones I like as of now because I haven't met the other faculty members from other departments yet. Well so far they've shown how good they are at their own courses and they've made learning a fun and interesting experience. We have like 4 exams in every year which are the eternals and semester exams. The total internal marks are 25 and the semeste exams are 75.

The college can be described in three letters. W.O.W

In St Edmunds college, the faculties are very well educated and has a broad sense of learning and discipline.I like the history department professors , particularly Sir Ricky. This is because of their outstanding capabilities on the subject . I dislike the sociology facilities as no proper lectures are given. There are 2 exams on each semester, one is internal and the other end semester examination.3 to 8 students has failed each semester. The course curriculum is very relevant in areas of competitive examinations .
