The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course liked arts that's why I choose this course The curriculum prepared me for a real world,this curriculum real helped me a lot The areas I would like to suggest improvement is village

The year wise fees I paid was 5000 thousand for a year The tuition fees I paid was 2000 per month ,and registration fees was 1500, The fees of other batchmates I don have any idea I have not received any scholarship

Campus Life

The annual festivals were Khasi n Garo dance All type of books are available there in that library The facilities and technological provision were new machine etc The extracurricular activities were football,base ball etc No there is noo students run social groups clubs or students portals

Admission

This college was my dreamed college as soon as I passed out my school I choose this college No I did not get any rejection be I haven't applied othe college The admission process was need mark sheet photos

Faculty

The students ratio was 60. The faculty student relationship was very good, The faculties I liked was Nisha,needhi ,Geeta etc Liked them bez the r very friendly . The faculties i don't liked was lucky,aming Aman ,Ricky,Raju.

Night Life

The college security guard mange the gym, cafeteria,library and public area closing time. 10Am to 8 pm is hostel and campus timing The famous hangout places inside the College is garden area whereas the outside is pb point,laimu point etc Shillong is safe area noo need to worried

ST ANTHONY’s COLLEGE SHILLONG

Likes

The college was full diverse with people coming from different states.
The faculty is quite cleaned and well organized.
College week was the best part of the college.

Dislikes

The professors were quite rude. If asked something you will be questioned as dumb.
The teaching style was not good. They would teach in their local language most of the time.
The time table was quite hectic as the classes started from 8:00 AM and ended in 4:30 PM and having only 30 mins break the whole day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite vast. But it only consisted of three subjects for my batch before NEP. We only have Western music, Hindustani classical music and regional music. But courses with NEP has a lot. And not just focuses on music but extras too.

food of the canteen is very delicious of it's kind

Dislikes

due to the non-availability of co-ed since it's an all girls college
canteen's food can add a variety of other delicacies
inclusivity of every gender being a all girls college

Course Curriculum Overview:

i've always had a passion for literature and it's musings so i guess english has always been close to home and my intellect. The curriculum makes me well known to the real world. There aren't any necessary improvements as per my perspective. The level of difficulty is moderate except it prepares every student to get out of one's comfort zone

My college offers an excellent learning environment with highly experienced faculty who are always approachable for guidance. The teaching methods are interactive, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications
The infrastructure is commendable with well equipped classrooms labs and a modern library. Campus life is vibrant with a mix of cultural, technical and sports events that foster a sense of community
The placement services are affective with top companies participating in campus recruitment and providing ample job opportunities

Dislikes

One area where the college needs improvement is the hostel facilities which require better maintenance and amenities
The Internet connectivity can be inconsistent in certain areas of the campus which impact students who rely online resources
The mess food lacks variety and often does not meet quality standards

I would rate an 8 because curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for the grade and a timeline to follow so the syllabus will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information

Likes

Teacegrs and their effirts in teacheing us
The campus os very big and has kots of trees
Classrooms are very big and comfortable for students

Dislikes

The canteen is unhygenic and food not so tasty
Some teacgers are not so well in teachings
Some students are very oversmart and dosnt repect

My course is geography is tough but the teachers explain it very well but some teachers they dosnt explain nicely but still wr manage to understand they give us notes they provude notes very well but very rude and strict

I liked the campus it was huge with great views sorrounded by umiam lake its beautiful
Chappel or Church where every student attend whether you are hindu they used to attend
Some many programs are being help like skill india,computer classes for free

Dislikes

The classrooms they were kind of old it wasnt renovated
Yeah there is water issue over in shillong in rainy days the water gets dirty which no one would like to drink so we have to buy our own water ....college authorities also provide fresh water when it becomes a big issue
The instruments for field study in geography are too old some doesnt work

I choose this course because i wanted to study geography and to know about it and i had to choose this institution because in Tripura there was no good college which provide BA geography honours so i had to move to Meghalaya...it is fun to study during 5-6th semester where we have to do field study with different instruments the are so amazing and in 6th semester they take us to trekking but unfortunate we were not taken because of exams ....the Nehu exams are so hard

The college needs to work out a bit and have an accommodation for outstation students. That way, more students will be interested to study in the college. They should try their best to have it in the college.

To be honest i applied only in St Edmunds for my Bachelors and even Masters because it was my first preferrence as i wanted to persue Social Work and there are other colleges too that offers bsw/msw but for me i preferred St Edmunds because they provide quality education right from the infrastructure to curricular activities to clubs which the students come up by themselves to workshops,seminars we get alot of opportunities to excel but at the end it depends on the student if they're willing to grab the opportunity. Also i wanted to study abroad for MSW to gain exposure but due to my health condition i cannot study abroad so i sticked to Edmunds since its really good. The admission process is quite easy and its eligible for students from various field ..Cuet marks are required but are mostly merit based. My admission process was easy since i secured high percentage I did not have to go through any interviews or exams and after paying the provisional fee to secure the seat i got the admission....Read More

i choose this college because it is my dream college, and it is one of the best college in the state. the college always ranked 1st, be it in academics or any curriculum activities. i got confirmation letter from each college I've applied to, but i choose this college because it's ranked 1st in the state.
