- Admission in 50% of the total seats is considered for the candidates of West Bengal through WBJEE Counseling.
- Accordingly, other criteria are at par the WBJEE criteria.

Likes
- Less fee structure compared to other institutes. It was pretty affordable and has decent enough living standards in hostel.
- We dont have ragging culture here so you are free to be yourself and nobody will bother you unnecessarily.
Dislikes
- College placement structure is not up to the mark. Needs a lot of improvement. There is a big gap between industry standards and our skills due to lack of professional exposure
- Campus is still building, its a new college. The vision seems promising but right now our campus needs a lot of improvement in terms of looks and accommodation capability
Fees and Financial Aid:
Per semester tution fees is around INR 12,5000 for odd semesters and INR 13,000 for the even ones. 2 semesters per year, so fees can go maximum upto INR 27,000. This includes the examination fees and other required charges which we dont have to pay seperately. This is for a general student. Few students belonging to economically weaker sections can avail TFW (Tution fee wavier) and their fee structure is around INR 11,500 and 12,000 respectively for odd and even semesters. Students from West Bengal can avail few State based scholarships such as Kanyashree or Swami Vivekananda Scholarship to get upto 40 percent off in their tution fees. Central based scholarships such as NSP can also be applied in this Institute.

- We liked faculties teaching experience, college campus, hostel meals and Everything.
- Harmonious environment, everyone was cooperative.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is around 7000 per semester which is very low as compared to other government colleges which makes it more affordable for many students. The scholarship is also provided on a merit basis like the SVMCM scholarship.

- GKCIET facilitates valuable internships that provide hands-on experience and industry exposure. Students gain practical skills, enhancing their readiness for future careers.
Dislikes
- Lack of faculty for taking optional subjects due to that choices are quite less.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The college fees for a single semester at GKCIET are affordable, amounting to 15000 INR. It's worth noting that the fees remain constant without any annual increases. Additionally, the institution offers scholarships to students in need, encompassing both central and West Bengal board students. This scholarship program opens doors for deserving students to access quality education without financial constraints, making education at GKCIET an inclusive and accessible endeavor.

- The hostel which is pretty good with nice rooms and attention to hygiene.
- The college offers full CCTV coverage and security personnels are at every entrance.
Dislikes
- The faculties are not friendly and helpful they lack the motive to guide us and mold us for our future.
- The college doesn't have a proper boundary wall.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees are quite acceptable for B. Tech. My total fees for 4 years is around 60000 which is very low for B.Tech. But in recent years the fees is increasing in leaps and bounds. There are facilities of scholarships like Swami Vivekananda scholarship and Oasis Scholarship for economically weak students.

- The hostel is one of my favourite place. It is very clean and rooms are very beautiful.
Dislikes
- The faculty members are not very supportive.
- Campus life is not up to one's expectations.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is very much affordable, especially for middle-class people like me. You can also avail of several scholarships that are present for students. There is no pressure to pay fees in the given time itself. As long as the fees are cleared before the exam it's all okay.

- The bond between seniors and juniors is good
- The library facility of the college is very good in fact it has the largest library in north bengal
Dislikes
- The college being much newer, still is developing
- The placements though are good but needs to improve

Upon admission, a payment of 18620 is required. Subsequently, each even semester necessitates a fee of 7250, while an amount of 7650 is due for every odd semester. Various government scholarships, including the Shami Vivekananda Scholarship, can mitigate costs. However, it's important to note that the fee structure is relatively elevated due to the government college status. A campus job would have been better but here is no such provision

- I specifically like the college green campus which looks good in the morning.
- And the area that the Campus hold in it .
Dislikes
- Backward area , the college is situated in village area
- Seniors , I don't like the senior as they are not much knowledgeable

Both BTECH and WBJEE qualified students have to pay 14 thousand per year, 7670 for Odd Semester and 7050 for even semester. Many scholarships are available for students who want to achieve more, for that, they just have to submit a bona fide certificate to college.

The fees structure of the college is extremely low, overall you will have to spend 64k in 4 years, leaving aside the hostel fees. State Govt Scholarships and Central Government Scholarships are received by the students.
