hostel facilities should be improved like the food of the mess and there are snakes seen sometimes
it is very far away from the nearest market
student security should be improved as it is the key feature for hosteler

there are some college based intership programs availble for cs students like MLSB that is Machine learning and System Biology , its around a 6 months internship course , rather certificate course provided by my college.

"AN HONEST REVIEW " : GKCIET Pros and Cons

Likes

Like campus environment is overall good you will go on daily walk and security is good for both boys and girls
There will be no ragging as it is the best part of this college that college professor are very strict for ragging so its good and there will be communties and student member for antiragging
On occasion wise basis there are competition which will help you to develop your personality and skill as well .

Dislikes

Hostel meal us not goid as expected hard to eat.
Education quality is like ok ok but not very good as expected
Less sincere student's are there other than are enough to distract you from your studies .

See you have to go for off campus internship with yourself they will not provide you they will provide you with internship for winter and summer for 1 month in the college followed by mechanical engineering departments, electrical engineering departments, food processing technology , computer science and civil engineering started from 2023 so currently they are working also on this tqo departments. From third year onwards you will get chance to work on the projects which will end in fourth year

In my department ( Food Technology) there are various opportunities for internships. They sent students to Coca-Cola, Britannia, Redcow etc and various MNCs. For project work, they sent students to various IITs and NITs.

The Good college and very good.

Likes

The campus is very good. Night walk and the morning walk is very good.
The Hostel is in nice position. And the hostel is also good.
The teachers are very good. The study is very welled.

The mess food is not quite good. The are very oily.

The college gave internship opportunities at Damodar Valley Corporation, Durlovpur, Bankura, near Durgapur. We were given the opportunity to learn about the control system lab of the factory. We learned about the structure of turbines and boilers too.

GKCIET Is Our Second Home

Likes

There are Very good quality Professors. Most of them are IITian. Their teaching process attracts me.
Campus Life of GKCIET , I am enjoying very much. In this last year We have to do more hardwork to get success.
In campus there are conducted many cultural events, fests, Sports. All of the students enjoy very much. We all like that.

Dislikes

Hostel food need to be more better. It is good now but need to be more tasty.
Playground of GKCIET need to be neat and clean in Rainy season as there drain system is not so good.
Placement should be more better. More companies need to come for our placement.

There is an Internship opportunity in our own college for the AI ML Lab. Most of the 3rd year students go to IOCL, NTPC, RAIL, GAIL, and WBPDCL for internships. This year I did my Summer Internship at IIT MADRAS on MicroFluidics on Water absorb rate through Porous channel. Professors also have many sources for Internships. Overall students get help from every professor.
