PDUNIPPD Faculty

The college's faculty is largely regarded as very good, with specific praise for their qualifications, experience, and dedication to quality education. Anatomy and physiology classes are conducted at MAMC, while engineering subjects are taught at NSIT, with most educators at both institutions being highly rated. The first-year faculty is particularly noted for their excellence. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:66, and each class is assigned one faculty member for every 60 students.

Faculty members are accessible and supportive, even outside regular hours, and possess strong subject knowledge. However, challenges include managing 120 students per teacher and handling 8 subjects, which can be overwhelming for students. In addition, the faculty is involved in both teaching and patient care, with 10-12 professors participating in OPD work. The faculty is recognized for their proficiency in the healthcare sector and is approachable, especially in the OPD and therapy rooms.

There is a noted difference in faculty engagement between the first, third, and fourth years compared to the second year due to the dual responsibilities of teaching and practicing.
