Remarks

Das College is not a issue but the course offered in this college is a huge issue because in market there is no balanced demand and supply and there is identity crisis for occupational therapist from the government as well as from the civilians.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

In few words I would say never ever opt for this college although it's govt. But it doesn't provide opportunities so it's a waste degrees even policymakers don't consider these professions as professions.

Placement Experience

0.5

As much I know my seniors batches and what I experienced there will be no College placement neither anywill be recruiting you, you have to know every clinics door and then they will give you opportunity and salary what they want to not according to you your experience etc.

College Events

0.5

There is no College event's as far as I was in that College there was only freshers In which it will be for 3-4 hours without any arrangements secondly saraswatI puja and lastly farewell and farewell was terminated after 2019.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Pretty expensive I would say it will cost you nearly 35 thousands per year where the so called earning for you will be 2. 4lakhs per year without any other benifit of health etc. In 10 thousands rs per year you can do mbbs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships as far as I know there is not a good scholarship for general or OBC person and for more information you need to stay in touch with college officials and college websites only those can help you out.

Campus Life

1.5

Extra curricular activities there are no such extra curricular activities in the college only one thing is hosted that is sports week and and the winner never gets a trophy only e it is announced that he or she is the winner.

Hostel Facilities

1

There are no hostel for male students as it is very small campus only female hostel is now there and quality of food is a huge problem everyone knows that and there are very few rooms with a tiny space without air-conditioned.

Admission

Only govt. College for occupational therapy in DelhI NCR. Claims to best in asia but there no respect or demand for Occupational therapist Atleast in India that very sure. But if anyone is willing to pursue Occupational therapy or prosthetic and orthosis or physiotherapy then you can consider this.

Faculty

3

Faculty is good if you compare to other institutions they have pretty fabulous knowledge and college have some descent exposure, faculty is not a problem here they are committed to teach the best and they will any how.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum initially provides all the theoretical and practical knowledge side by side. As in first year classes are held in University college of medical science so practical we got demonstration of human anatomy on cadavers . And the subsequent 2nd, 3rd and 4th year classes are held in Amar Jyoti as the syllabus of these years provide you proper insights of your field Side by side in 3rd and 4th year we do clinical postings in different hospitals and in Amar Jyoti where we see real world applications i.e. hands on patients under the guidance of senior physiotherapist who are our professors also. First year is quite tough compare with other years as overall syllabus is just same as of MBBS . Areas of improvement - should be in syllabus I think as in first year we were somewhat clueless about our real role in PT as there were no PT specific subjects .

Placement Experience:

Student's become eligible from 4th year only for the campus placements. It's not the companies or the hospitals that visits for placement it's the NGO's and all that comes and provide basic salaries to students. Highest packages can go upto - 1200000 per annum or average to 400000 per annum. 70-80% students get's placements and other starts there home visits or own clinic. My plans is to work for 2 year in any hospital in india and then move to dubai for future opportunities.
