Best Physiotherapy College

The college is great and is one of the best colleges in Asia for Physiotherapy. It’s affiliated to university of delhi and is the only government college in delhi for this course. It comes under ministry of social justice and empowerment.

The exam structure is yearly and not semester based. The course curriculum is divided into 4. 5 years. 4 years studying and 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship in various hospitals. Also in third and fourth year we have clinical postings in various hospitals and in out OPD as well.

The stipend for the internship is approximately 50K for 6 months. This internship is compulsory and also there are placement sessions of companies like QI SPINE etc. The internship is also done rurally that is one month rural internship is compulsory.

College holds various events like PT day OT day freshers farewell and other cultural events. The events usually occur in the college premises and all the students actively participate in all the events.

The fee structure is feasible and the cost of whole 4. 5 year course is approximately 1. 5 lakh in total. So it’s feasible. As compared to other colleges offering the same course the fee is very much in budget for a middle class family.

There is no scholarship or loan offered by the college. However some specific scholarships for reserved category students is available and students can get the details from the college administration about the same.

The labs are well maintained. We have sports courts and everything is well maintained. Sports day happens yearly. Labs like anatomy physiology ElectroTherapy and exercise therapy labs are available and well maintained.

Boys hostel is not available. Only girls hostel is prevalent in the college campus only. The options available for boys is the nearby area of Laxmi Nagar for PG facility where they can get rooms on sharing basis

Alumni meets happen over the course of the year. Most of the reputed hospitals have our alumni as their head of departments. Many of the alumni have moved abroad and are doing very well there too making the institute proud.

I gave the entrance exam for this course after reviewing the same course from the other universities. This college is the only government Physiotherapy college in delhi and is affiliated to Delhi University

The faculty here is very much experienced and skilled in what the do whether teaching or treating the patients. There are approximately 10-12 professors who teach as well as treat the patients in the OPD.
