Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute For Persons with Physical Disabilities is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India in New Delhi. The institute provides various courses and some of the popular courses are Bachelor of Special Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT).

Admission to all UG courses is based on merit in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the National Recruitment Agency (NRA).

Paramedical field. Boon or bane?

Admission:

If you want to pursue this course you have to be from a science background and should have completed your schooling with any Board of Education. The exam which enrolls you to this college is CET examination which is held every year. Reservations are provided to SC ST and OBC minority also regional and below poverty line people are also benefited. The difficulty of this exam is moderate. Not many people know about the CET examination so I think they should campaign to spread awareness regarding the exam. The overall admission process was easy and the academic session started on September 2023.

Eligibility is just pcb in 12th with 50% above marks. And the application form, fees and dates are all available on the PDUNIPPD official website. Exam is held once every year by the name CET( common entrance test). Exam is a multiple choice questions-based exam in which there's no negative marking and apart from physics chemistry and biology, 20 questions of general knowledge also come in the exam. They're basically just current affairs.

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped is an autonomous organisation under the administrative and financial control of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, government of India. The admission is done through an entrance test conducted every year in the month of June/July. Common entrance test for admissions in the Institute is conducted by the Institute in collaboration with University of Delhi. The candidates should be 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Muslims. Students will be admitted category-wise on the basis of merit list provided by the University of Delhi.
