Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as it's new and emerging field in India and its still in development phase. Faculty and student ratio is 1:30 approx. The faculty of our institute is highly qualified having masters and PhDs in our field. The teaching method is ok, you have to work on your own. Internal and final exams are taken timely and it's not that difficult to pass if you have good amount of knowledge in your subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is offered by companies such as Alimco, Ottobock, various NGOs etc. For getting clinical practice done to attend the patients and manufacture as well as designing various equipments. Stipend is nearly 8k per month and the internship period is 6 months.
Placement Experience
Almost all students nearly 100% who have passed in their exams got campus placements. The lowest as well as highest packages offered by companies are 15k-30k. Companies visited are ALIMCO, Ossur, Ottobock, Endolite, Collegepark etc. I want to pursue masters after getting my bachelor's degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the institute is nearly 25-40k approx per year. Students get scholarship on the caste basis and also on EWS group basis. So there are variety of scholarships available. Nearly, everyone get placed on campus with good amount of stipend.
Campus Life
Annual fest is conducted in the month of November and December. Due to covid situations, there is no fest conducted last year. Almost all books of different journals and subjects are available with latest edition. Amenities in classroom has AC and good sitting arrangements for their students. In the campus, basketball and badminton court are available.

Yes, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Institute For The Physically Handicapped offers separate hostels for boys and girls. There are 27 rooms in the boys’ hostel. A maximum of two students are allowed to share a hostel room.
