Course Curriculum Overview

It is 4 year and 6 months course.i choose this course because I always wanted to get registered in Rehabilitation council of India. After this course I can register myself in the RCI council. The teachers of ISIC are so good in teaching the ratio between us is so professional as we maintain the professionalism in the college. Faculty should have master's degree plus experience. Its not easy to get good marks here we have to study hard for the marks.

Class Size: 8Course Fees: INR 109100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the ISIC is too much but still we have another option to stabilize the situation. We can get the scholarship if we score good marks in pervious year. 60% is necessary for the scholarship. We don't get stipend in our internship days.

Campus Life

Here life is so simple usually we don't get time for the fest and parties as this is the hospital. We have to maintain the image between hospital and patients. We used to carry uniform so that it wouldn't be awkward for the patient to see students.

Admission

Yes there is a entrance exam taken by GGSIPU for the course which we want. We need to fill up the form of GGSIPU which is available on the website after that we get admit card for the entrance , we get the centre for the exam. After exam admission process starts it depends on the cut-off of your course. Then go for the councilling to get admission. After that procedure we have to visit to the college we get or confirmation. Every information of the student is necessary for the admission. No , I don't think that we need any improvement. Thank you

Bachelor's of prosthetics and orthotics in ISIC

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a biomedical course including both engineering and medical knowledge, we have both medical and technical subjects like Electronics, applied mechanics, biomechanics, orthotics prosthetics, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology etc. The exams occur annually so there is 2 internal exam and an external exam (1:1:8 marks distribution), teachers are well educated (our teachers have done masters and PhD in the respective field), and teaching methods include practical and theoretical teaching methods both. Exams are not too tough to pass it's easy if one pays attention and follows the guidelines of teachers. But there are 10 subjects to focus on in the initial two years so it's quite tricky to focus but with practice and patience, it's easier.

The faculties here are really qualified, they are always been helpful to us and also helped us in every way. the duration of the course is four and six months (six months of internships). In this course you can learn about the orthotic devices and the prosthetsis, the faculty student ration is upto the RCI norms.

College preview from my perspective

Placement Experience:

Almost all students nearly 100% who have passed in their exams got campus placements. The lowest as well as highest packages offered by companies are 15k-30k. Companies visited are ALIMCO, Ossur, Ottobock, Endolite, Collegepark etc. I want to pursue masters after getting my bachelor's degree.

Best college for Marine Sciences course

Remarks:

There are plenty of workshops in our college which provide the students basic knowledge of the Marine environment. There are well equipped classrooms. The classrooms have AC installed for summers. The labs are also well-equipped. This make our college the best college for Marine Sciences and courses.

Best college to become navy officer

Remarks:

Our institution provides very good facilities for all of the student. Mainly, the most positive aspect about our institution is availability of a number of marine workshop and laboratories that help in the development of the physical attributes of all of the students. All this help the students for getting a job in Indian Navy.

Got more than expected

Honestly the thing that made me chose this college is the affiliation from the IPU. My rank was not allowing me to get admitted to the to tier college of even IPU so seen many colleges affiliated to AKTU and i found that IPU is far better than AKTU . whatever learning you get in college is not enough to secure a high paying job, you have to learn some advance skills outside the college and the liniency in IPU colleges gives you the flexibility to do that , and AKTU lacks....Read More

I chose this college because to it's reputation and infrastructure . I applied to all ip colleges and got mostly all of them. In 1 round i got Akhilesh das gupta institute of technology but left it because of its low reputation. I didn't get admission in Dtu because my marks in Jee was not enough .
