Women Institute of Technology Dehradun Faculty

The faculty at the college consists of 6 members with an average age of 33, primarily holding or pursuing M.Tech or PhD degrees. They are well-qualified, many being alumni of IITs and NITs, and appointed under the TEQ-P 3 plan by the Government of India. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:40-50, with a maximum student body of 800-1000. Teachers employ various teaching methods, including PPTs, notes, video lectures, practicals, workshops, and industrial visits, aligning with the AICTE syllabus.

Faculty are approachable and supportive, fostering a friendly relationship with students while encouraging practical knowledge and critical thinking. The curriculum follows UTU guidelines, divided into 8 semesters, with exams conducted three times a year. The back examination fee is around 1500. Faculty contracts last a semester and are renewed based on student feedback.
