I applied to a few other enginnering colleges in my region that offered Btech programs . I recieved confirmed admission offers from a couple of them as well . However, I chose WIT as I felt overall learning atmosphere here aligned better with my goals for teamchnical growth and career development. The admission procedure here is simple the candidate must have completed 10+12 with physics chemistry and maths. The college accepts JEE main , state level entrance exams like UPSEE or other state technical exams and also considers direct admission based on merit depending on seat availability. And with their respective JEE rank they must apply for counselling.

This College was totally a girls college, which was a major advantage for this college along with this the cut off for this institute goes pretty low. The addmission process is done in either of two ways on basis of 12 or JEE score.

my complete experience at WIT

Compared to private colleges like VIT or SRM, the overall fee structure and also it is government college much more affordable and government colleges have much more priorities. I missed cutoff of jee mains by a small margine and couldn't secure a seat in top tier colleges. also, private colleges are very expensive. Admission process in my college Mode of admission through UTU councelling based on jee mains rank required documents 10/12th marksheet , ID proof, entrance scorecard passport size photo Fees and registration: an intial admission fees of Rs.47,800 has to be paid during document verification.

I applied for Delhi University and I took admission in uttrakhand technical university because this college is government approved. No i didn't get rejection from other colleges but didn't got enough score to take admission in Delhi University. The admission process of my college is first you have to clear the jee main exam and then you have to do counsiling if then you can apply in college in which you want to take admission Then you have to give documents in the college and done the admission process the cutoffs for sc is 41 . My overall experience is not that good

1- The admission is done on the basis of JEE mains percentile and 12th marks thorough UKtech Councilling and spot round Councilling. 2- The cut-off is 60 percentile. 3- Seats are easily available as less student come to women's college.

Overview of WIT

I got in the the first round of admission and I froze the seat cut i can tell you that you need to fill out the utu counseling for the addmission and the selection is done on basis of jee main score. Cutoff is not too high you'll get in if you have okayish percentile.
