Cochin University of Science and Technology, School of Engineering Thrikkakara Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose CUSAT because it is very old college and also is very reputated college in Kochin. I always wanted to join a government university and this was one of them. The college has good students reviews.

Through CAT Examination.Two Colleges under this university. one at Kuttanad and One the Main Campus At Kalamassery Kochi. Admissions Are done in Different step by Step Allotment Process and At last With Spot Admissions.

School of engineering (SOE) is a reputed educational institution which is affiliated to Cochin University of science and technology. CUSAT is one of the top universities in the country and leads the list even all over the world. Since it is a government funded institution, Campus provides students great freedom and almost all faculties are highly qualified.The extra curricular student activities in the campus increases student's management skills and help them gain confidence by being part of everything themselves. Great atmosphere and infrastructure and facilities.All student amenities are provided in the campus at reasonable cost. The university has great popularity among people and has good placement records in past years. These factors made me to prefer CUSAT for my studies.

No negetive about my college but we can say that here package is average about 5lpa which is very less. But some students gets good package about 15-20lpa i e depends on your hardworking and smart studing.

Negative remarks: Alumni relations is very weak and any effort put forward by the students to grow it is stopped by the college. Placement activities still require support as majority of the companies are IT firms. The campus is slowly loosing its green look as trees are cut every now and then to make more buildings. Positive remarks: The college provides a start up incubation centre, CITTIC for aspiring entrepreneurs. The degree from this college is of high value The college is NBA accredited with TEQIP-3. The faculty is highly experienced and trained. The campus provides a lot of opportunities.

The college is one of the most reputed college in kerala itself. And if offers two prestigious engineering courses that are very very rare in India itself. The college offers very good campus placements records and all big multinational companies are recruiting from college.

Positive remarks is very good atmospheres. very attractive. loving campus. vast area. facilities are not bad facilities are good but some dirty politics and the money related are little bit of negative side of this college. But we can create memories here and enjoy our life

The campus life is enjoyable as this campus you could have different programs and fest organized by various departments in the university. The politics here is extreme. Any ways the college life here is truly amazing and memorable.

Good college. Exams, classes are conducted regularly. The results also published in time.

Positive remarks is the college is autonomous because we are directly under the Cochin University of Science and Technology. So the CUSAT name plays a big role in whole Kerala. The certificate has a big value. In case of negative remarks, some works are not doing properly, like small maintenance work and all.
