Placement Experience:
Thakur College of Engineering and Technology is what most famous for:-
1) Architect and Resources
2) placements
Thakur college makes you the promise of getting A1 company as per your engagements over your specialized skill set and motive to work for those company
One thing is that TCET offers E&TC students to sit in placements at IT companies as well
Good campus with enough space a lush garden to relax and study at the same time it is quite spacious with a tree at centre as well.
The students are well cultured and well behaved and helpful as well. Never faced any negative interaction with anyone in the college premises for the past 1 year that I've been here.
The infrastructure is very good. All the classes are properly air conditioned and even the reading room is very spacious and still air conditioned properly.
Dislikes
Not all the faculties are experienced some faculties are inexperienced especially for the first year students.
Although the reading room is spacious the library is quite small and isn't even air conditioned.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement from 6th semester. Big companies that visit TCET includes JP Morgan Chase & co and infyTQ which are quite popular and give average packages of 17.5 lpa and 10 lpa respectively. The complete average package including every company that visits is around 4-5 lpa. 100% placement*. After getting degree I might go for higher studies through gate and pursue my masters in computer science.
The overall curriculum was designed in such a way that it is up to the industry standard.
The teaching staff is also very supportive and they have good knowledge about the subject they teach.
Infrastructure of the college is also very god comparing to other private colleges in mumbai
Dislikes
Overall the college and campus is great just the placement can be improved.
Placement Experience:
The placement cell is also good most of the students from computer engineering department are placed. The average package that are offered is less but the placement cell help students in every way possible so that the students are placed.
The infrastructure of the college is better than other rival colleges
Sports and extracurricular activities are available
Attendance and examination is considered in case of emergency
Dislikes
Faculty isn’t the best, some faculties hardly know the subject
Hectic schedules and will have to put a lot of time
Placement rates are not advancing, growth of average package is still.
Placement Experience:
The placement of TCET isn't the best you can ask for, there are students struggling to get dream jobs and packages, students are just aiming to secure a job and get into the industry and other students prepare for masters.
The Campus, the infrastructure of Thakur College of Engineering and Technology is one of the best infrastructure in any of the engineering colleges in Mumbai.
The canteen is relatively okay, there is no problem of food poisoning, and anything as such
Some Faculty members are really good and helpful, makes us understand different and difficult things, make our way easy
Dislikes
As I mentioned before dinner faculty members, so yes, other faculty members are not as supportive as others, and they are placed at higher positions, which created problems and it finds us hard for us to cope up with that.
The way the college write is not appropriated at all, it is almost similar to a school! Everyday come to college, have lectures, complete your books, etc etc.
Attendance is mandatory, also other thing is practicals are compulsory, valid point and it is good to keep it mandatory, but some students just copy the practicals and projects, which is not good, for students future.
Placement Experience:
Placement are not upto the mark, they can be way better, as per the curriculum and all the other things we consider! TCET really needs to improve a lot in placements, although there is a very good T&P Cell working hard to get better each and everytime, but yes need to improve as fast as possible.
Tcet provides amazing infrastructure as compared to other colleges in Mumbai Suburban
Library has many varieties of books and students also get access to digital library
Dislikes
Placement can be improved. Return on investment is very less
College fees is very high but also scholarships are available
Placement Experience:
Campus Placement are Good if your Academics is Good enough like you score 8+ percentile above
Nearly in 6th Semester Placement process starts Tnp training and placement cells provide all basic and Required skills for seating in Campus Placement Interviews
Highest Package is 40 Lac per annum Last year
It's all depend on Students Performance in interviews

The comitee of the TCET that is ncc, nss, mun and many more are there to showcase your talent.
I liked the tcet Zephyr event and lerned following things I had participated in the dance and hand wrestling games. This events is quite interesting on extra curricular activities which is basically the more learning and informative.
Dislikes
The timings of morning batch of group 1 students is bit early which cause a problem for students living farway.
This collage doesn't have it's on ground which is something that I don't like.
The canteen area is bit crowded which makes students time loss.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The teaching are mostly based on experiment and real life based problem. The students are well trained to overcome problems. They must provide more software knowledge to students. The exams are 3units test of and one bit difficult semester exam.
The college gives you exposure to join lots and lots of professional bodies which helps us to improve our skills.
The infrastructure is also well maintained and the best part is the faculty members are very understanding and supportive
The canteen facilities is very good, they offer very quality food at nominal rates when compared to other colleges
Dislikes
Well to define there is no as such cons in the college besides the admin office staffs.
The college do not offer any locker facilities to students for free which I think should be kept free
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of the college is designed by the college itself as it an Autonomous college and it is based on NEP, to be precise enough I didn't felt that the college offers any teachings in the first year to work on real world problems and find the solution for the same. Although it is an extension of the curriculum which we have learnt in our 12th boards. The frequency of exams is quite high here as it is conducted in about every 3-4 week but the difficulty level is moderate and easy when compared with Mumbai University.
The college had very good infrastructure including inside and outside, the toilets were very well cleaned and maintained.
The college has got ample amount of space for students to hang out which includes a small garden.
The college has many fruit trees which include mango and guava trees, feels refreshing to be around so many trees.
Dislikes
The College has very good competitive faculty group but some facilities are not that good in teaching and communicating with the Students
The college canteen has a very wide range of options but according to me the hygiene levels could be more better
Placement Experience:
From what i have heard the placements are good in the college and most of the students get placed by the traning and placement cell with the placement % of approx 80%. The highest placement of the recent phase was 44lpa off campus and 22lpa on campus.
College is very active in conducting good research events, hackathons and all.
Infrastructure is amazing and totally on point. Cleanliness is forever ensured.
Some faculties are good some aren't, it's in our hands
Dislikes
If we have beef with faculties they will make us pay
If anyone wants to succeed in extracurriculars they have to have good hold on inhouse politics
Internships and placements aren't on point and declining
Placement Experience:
Training and placement cell offers regular session from the Beginning of third year itself to boost employability. Some good companies do come on campus to pick students. Second year onwards some students are given internships by department to familiarise students with industry standards.
