Below avarage Hostel facility , small campus, ok-ok placements

Likes

College has good infrastructure one of the best in mumbai
Classrooms have AC well equipped lab and clean washroom
Faculty is supportive and understanding atleast in our department

Dislikes

Hostels doesn't provide mess facilities also they are increasing their charges per year
Campus is to small plus no playgrounds to play
They don't allowed to stay in campus after 5.30 PM

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite good avarage salary is 5 lakh per anum while Highest is 44 lkh per anum offered by Amazon companies like Accenture Capgemini Infosys TCS Oracle are come for placement recruitment this year flipkart is also coming. College have active Training and placement cell

The complete story about TCET

Likes

I have like the books in the library room
I like the canteen food and the variety of food.
I like the ncc club of my college, it gives me various opportunities.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty of the college and the staff
I don't like the placement cell of the college it don't gives proper training and charges alot for training which is 3700 which is compulsory in order to sit for placement.
The college fee is extremely very high and they are not providing anything for what they are charging so much.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester the companies come for recruitment. The companies come in the college are Infosys, Cognizant, Capegimini, Oracle, Zycus. Very less number of students are able to get placement from the college. The people who don't get placement opt for higher studies, try for off campus placement. The lowest package offered is 180000. The average package offered is 300000.

The life at tcet

Likes

The thing I like was the architecture of the college building and it is nice and clean a big space for everything planned according and also arranged properly
The food in the canteen is great at a nice price and also healthy and tasty

Dislikes

The sitting areas are less and not extra tables to sit in college campus
The food truck in the campus are very expensive and also not that great at taste
The rooms are okay but the ac cannot go below 18 and which is hectic and also the fan are less

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is likely to be great and the best you can get your hands on in the upcoming market and I guess it will be great if we are likely to be achieved things right out the campus which our college is helping us to do by making deals with many companies and working with them.

College is focused more on marketing than tha quality of education

Placement Experience:

The students were allowed to sit forncampus placements from 7th semester of their engin. The college placement was affected by recession similar to other colleges. The numbers were not that good when compared to previous year. Although training and placement cell was successful in getting companies like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Colgate, etc. Approx percentage of students offered were 60%. I'm still in search of job after completing my degree.

Likes

The infrastructure in the college is really good.All the washroom, classes labs are very clean.
Teachers are really supportive towards the students.
Since it is an autonomous college,exams are really easy and you can score easily

Dislikes

The teaching quality can be improved to a good extent

The course curriculum is fairly good in my opinion. Especially for the first year, it is really good. I wish there could be more coding and technology skills in the course. Example- studying actual coding instead of DSA theory.

Likes

Good infrastructure with air-conditioned classrooms, labs, library and reading room
Big campus and many college fests like Zephyr, Sojourn, T-Spark etc
Decent placements with good alumni network and good on campus opportunities

Dislikes

Lack of experience in assistant professors and rude lab assistant
Rude admin staff and worst management by college
Worst faculty teach horrible subjects and don't give internals

Course Curriculum Overview:

As our college got autonomy status, they do have updated syllabus and scheme of the course but also include various not so important subjects due to AICTE rules. Course curriculum is not that if industry relevant and teaching methods are also quite poor
