TCET is better than IIT(iykyk)

As our college got autonomy status, they do have updated syllabus and scheme of the course but also include various not so important subjects due to AICTE rules. Course curriculum is not that if industry relevant and teaching methods are also quite poor

Every year college tuition fees is around 148500 and other fees include University fees of around 5000 but there is a scholarship called EBC for students admitted through CAP round and having family annual income lesser than 8 Lakhs. They get 50% tution fees and 50% exam fees that is around 65k reimbursement from government. Also there is a scholarship for students who didn't avail EBC due to maybe not admitted through CAP round but have family income less than 8 Lakhs cab get financial assistance from Thakur Trusts, TSDW funds or Alumni association funds.

There is a technical fest called Zephyr along with the cultural fest called Sojourn which is held in big Auditorium of our college. Overall infrastructure of the college of really good with huge campus size making campus life more enjoying with friend groups. Library is really well maintained with cleanliness and air-conditioned. There are wide variety of books you can issue from library and can also read there in Reading room area. There are projectors in each classroom along with good Air Conditioning systems. There is also an interview departmental sports event conducted beside college nearby BMC ground called as T-Spark. There are various clubs and societies like Rotaract club, NSS, NCC, etc.

I got 88 percentile in MHT CET engineering entrance examination and got this college through CAP round. Cutoff for my branch has increased quite significantly due to awareness of AI and Data Science from around 85 percentile during my time to 90 percentile this year. Once you get this college from CAP round you have to come to college take admission form and pay amount to freeze the seat

There are good professors most of them with masters degree and excellent HOD and Dean with PhD degree. But some assistant professor lack experience and do not know how to teach. HOD's and Deans are usually available to contact about anything we struggle but actions are not taken immediately.
