Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fairly good in my opinion. Especially for the first year, it is really good. I wish there could be more coding and technology skills in the course. Example- studying actual coding instead of DSA theory.
Fees and Financial Aid
TCET provides all the services for EBC, OBC, and the Tution fees waiver scheme and it is all provided there.I am a general category student who had a fee of around 1.5 lakhs rupees fees per year. We also have to pay 1500rs for TSDW and MU fees. But the total is 1.5 lakh in all.
Campus Life
The culture in TCET is really good in my opinion. There are clubs for sports, dance, and drama, and a lot of options available for extracurricular and I find it enough for the overall development of students. You can be part of any club you wish to.
Admission
I had got 95.2 percentile in MHCET. I applied in Thakur for Computer Engineering and I got the seat. I was a Hindi Minority student hence it was easy. I was asked to take a seat by paying 5 lakh for donation before even my MHCET results were declared. They said I would be 80s due to my 130/200 in MHCET but I scored 95.2 percentile and got it without any donation.
Faculty
There are different aspects to this. There are certain faculty members who are really good and supportive and teach in a very supportive manner. But also there are faculty members who need more training and ability to handle a class.
