Course Curriculum Overview

The computer engineering is a continuously growing field of engineering. The branch which has never ending demand and the branch which is at the centre of all the other branches such as AI, DS, Ml and CSE.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The breakdown of fees is as follows : Tuition fee : 160000/- TSDW : 2000/- Trust : 5112/- However if you apply under EBC section or TFWS you can get the scholarship as per the criteria and for instance you should be domiciled in maharashtra and have a income certificate.

Campus Life

There are plenty of options available when it comes to clubs. Also there are lots of fests going on throughout the year, so no problems there you are going to love this. Also the college encourages you to participate in different sports.

Admission

For computer engineering you should have scored in a minimum of 94 percentile in MH-CET if you are willing to apply in open category. About the exams, the exams take place in every 1 and a half month.

Faculty

Most of the faculties are having a PHD degree which is a good thing. Most of the teachers are decent enough and have a good knowledge along with outstanding experience. The teachers are very helpful too.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

All BTech and MTech students can apply for offcampus placement if required but there sufficient oncampus placements and almost all students get placed.Companies visiting for computer and IT are tcs, infosys, capgemini, cognisant, Nvidia, IBM, etc Total 42 offers were made computer branch and 52 offers for IT branch. The percentage of placements is 80%.

TCET!!!!

i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement. TCET has a very strong industry connection as well as political too. To get into TCET you have to give the MHT-CET exams and secure almost 95%ile score for tech branches for non linguistic minority.
