The fests there are very interesting it is filled with beauty and students do a great job to establish them
Faculty is so good of chemistry every teacher is so worth of your time andoney
The college also consider special sport cota students and help them to grow in sports

Dislikes

The crowd is a lottt during the fest times and it's really annoying that time because of rush it really seems irritating.
Canteen food is not really good and the canteen people does not maintain the cleanness, hygiene is bad
The some of our teachers where also not so good in teaching the subject which they were teaching

Worth every penny

Likes

Has sports and teams of football to play with other colleges
Has events and fest so that students can enjoy and can have time for themselves out of stress of studies
Great food in the canteen and great classrooms for students college also conducts social activities for the students to learn new things around earth

Dislikes

Some teachers being rude to students without any reasons
Datavista people don’t listen when it comes to subject changing
Canteen walls needs to be developed also canteen should be kept clean as much as possible

Placement Experience:

Well, as this is my first year, I would like to share about people in my course. Psychology is the course that is most eligible for placement. When u get a degree in psychology, you can get a placement as a counsellor or a therapist in your own college by your choice, and if u want, u can get a job easily in other companies too.

Had amazing experience in wilson

The college is super chill the faculty is nice most of the teachers and professors are nice. They campus life is great
Teacher gives notes to us. They are caring . They have this policy of giving credits on extra curriculum so most of the students get exposure through that
The campus and the students are so nice. I haven’t seen single case of bullying . The respect each other. And college policies are also great.

Dislikes

I don’t like the food in the canteen as bc I’m North Indian.
Sometimes favouritism can happen in class
Because of the favouritism some tasks might be given to certain student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is sort of nice but in first and second year I had problem that we were taught about the things that were some significance in 90s and not now that doesn't even make sense now and would not be very useful. But now in third year they are teaching us all the things that gonna be beneficial for us when we step out of the college.

Wilson College: An Honest Review

Likes

I liked the architecture of the college. Although quite small, but it is very beautiful and historic
I liked that the fees were affordable throughout my 3 semesters
The canteen had affordable rates for all food items which was a good thing.

Dislikes

The college lacks placement/internship opportunities
I also think the syllabus is quite outdated and the professors are mediocre.
Professors change quite frequently every year especially in the Psychology Department. Some professors are qualified whereas others do not teach the subject very well

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in Psychology which is why I opted for this course. Social psychology was especially very interesting to me. The curriculum is good when it comes to future prospects of giving competitive exams. However, it doesn't prepare you a lot for real-life applications as much. The course can definitely include more practical experiments which would make the subject more interesting. Better assignments/projects would also be beneficial. The exams were twice in a year. They weren't very difficult and easy to clear if one studied the portion well. However, I do feel that the exam pattern could be more application-based.

Points to consider before going to Wilson College

Likes

The teachers are greatly interested to educate and help the kids, especially kids that need extra attention
The fests there are very interesting it is filled with beauty and students do a great job to establish them
The college campus is very clean and tidy and even students try to keep it that way during their classes too

Dislikes

The crowd is also a problem at times as they don't maintain class

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to take psychology as my major since in today's world mental health is a very important topic and it gave me the idea to study more about it, I think it helps me understand the social world, the mental health of people and human brains, the exams can be hard but as long as your studying nothing is too hard for you

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum given by Mumbai University was followed until the batch of 2024. The course is mostly theory based especially for arts students. This could be made better by adding more practical aspects of the subject and prepares the student for real world applications
