Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is sort of nice but in first and second year I had problem that we were taught about the things that were some significance in 90s and not now that doesn't even make sense now and would not be very useful. But now in third year they are teaching us all the things that gonna be beneficial for us when we step out of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite affordable. In first year the fee was only 7220 that includes all the that is tuition fee , library fee , gymkhanna fee., magazine fee , exam fee and all the other that might be applicable. In second year the fee structure was same. But in third year the fee for psychology major the fee is 23450 that is inclusive of all taxes and all the above mentioned fees for other activities were included. There are 100 students in my batch. But here in Wilson college they give consessions to st/sc and there are seats reserved for Christian minorities.

Campus Life

5

There are so many clubs of the college like rowtract club , lion club , natures club , political science association, mindsight club of psychology and many more they also have NSS which can be very beneficial for students. The campus life is all sorted.

Admission

I applied to this college and I got selected on merit basis. I was happy I had researched about it through various platforms including collegedunia. The campus life I wanted I got it here students are chill there are a lot of extra curriculum activities going on. Guest sessions are held. Over all I like it. Admission process was very simple and easy.

Faculty

4

In my experience. When I was in first year they seem nice but as I was new it took me a little while to understand and approach them. But in my second year teachers were familiar to me and they all were approachable. We always had 2 teacher for single subject. And in the third year we have 3 teachers. Exams are mostly fine. Sometimes when the paper is setten up by HOD it could be difficult but most of the student pass the exam. But political science students most of the time fail the exams. Others pass the exam on first attempt.

Night Life

5

Hostels are in walking distance from campus but there are very limited rooms that are available for girls hostel. The nightlife is awesome. The beach is there some famous cafés are there. Chowpaty is opposite to the college. Famous restaurants life ideal cafe or sukh sagar is there L. Famous markets like cowford market and Colaba is in short distance.

The curriculum is neither difficult nor easy. It is a good curriculum for even an average student. The teacher mostly used the traditional teaching method. It needs to be improved. The exam's difficulty level is not so high again good for average students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
