Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees kept decreasing throughout the year's first it was almost 6000 the almost 3000 now almost 2000. I come under sc cast that's why it was only 6000 The first year then the second year I Was on sports scholarship but due to some disagreements with the college I dropped out of sports but luckily my research paper got selected and I got an academic scholarship for third year. Well I'm still of provitional admission for third year as I have a backlog in my first sem. When it comes to the exams fees stuckture. We have to pay upto ?150 per subject and well there are 6 so year something around 750 because it excludes compulsory subjects. Late fees upto ?500 per month delay are added. Backlog fees are twice the price of a normal subject.

Campus Life

4

My first year I made a mistake on not focusing on my studies and spent all my time on other activities like participating in street play, making decorations all around the college for fests and some other leadership roles. It was fun. The second year I got an internship outside and only came to college for the exams but I was in touch with my professors and kept updated. In the summer vacation after second year, our department went for a study tour to NIMHANS and then to Coorg for fun. After we came back me with other 3 girls write our first research paper and mine is getting published by ugc in 2025. In October of third year I joined the theatre club with is another awesome experience I'm having in my college.

Admission

I didn't choose this college this college chose me. I didn't get into any other colleges so I ended up getting admission over here as it was already late and this was my only option. I could've changed it in second year but by then this college had grew on me

Faculty

Every sem the sub-subject changes. The arts professors are good. Philosophy, Psychology & Sociology professors are amazing. They're very supportive, smart, good with keeping our attention and actually care about our education. Other departments of arts are horrible, all the language department professors have horrible attitude and look down at students from other departments, are not at all helpful and I've got screamed at for not understanding something and asking for clarification. The English department HOD specifically can't even speak English properly. She doesn't even know English classic literatures like Emma by Jane Austin.

Night Life

1

No night life. Our college is conservative. Allowing us to wear clothes if our choise is enough for them. They don't even let a boy and girl girl sit together for more than 5 minutes. There are bodyguards everywhere

Course Curriculum Overview:

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
