Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum of the BA pass in general course is a 3 years degree program provided by the Chhatrapati Shivaji College, Satara and it is affiliated by the Shivaji University. Philosophy, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Literature, History, Psychology, Anthropology, Library Science, Archaeology, Education, and many more subjects are taught in this course.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is totally dependent on the student's capability because if you perform well in your academics then the college placement cell will give the preference you in placement. Placement is very less because most of the students mostly do this as degree course.

College Events

3.5

College celebrates events like World Environment Day in which students and teachers and all the staff plant trees, the Birth anniversary of Rajarshree Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, Population Day, Teachers Day celebration, Literacy Day, Women's Day, Geography Day and so on.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Talking about the fee structure, I feel the college fee is very nominal in comparison to nearby colleges so the fee is very affordable by the students of even of the lower-income groups. The total fee structure of the BA pass course was around the 4500 rupees for the whole 3 years course.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does provide many scholarships under the different schemes in which there is an EBC scholarship for the economical background classes, Scholarships provided by the government of Maharashtra. College also distributes different prizes to the students depending on academic performance.

Campus Life

4

Our college campus is very big in which there are a total of 38 classrooms, in which half of the classrooms are digitally facilitated and seem smart classes, there are around 15 laboratories in which there are 10 out of those are departmental laboratories. Boys hostel, Girls hostel, Gymakahana, libraries, conference/seminar hall, audio-visual, almost all the things are present on the college campus.

Admission

For getting admission, I visited the college and fill the form received from the admission counter which is generally released in the first or second week of the June and submitted the form after filling in and signing it duly and submitted it to the same counter(which can also be submitted till the third week of the June) and so I got admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
