Points to consider before going to Wilson College

Likes

The teachers are greatly interested to educate and help the kids, especially kids that need extra attention
The fests there are very interesting it is filled with beauty and students do a great job to establish them

Dislikes

The crowd is also a problem at times as they don't maintain class

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

tuition fee is not alot it's pretty affordable, fhe complete cost of my course was 7590 at the admission, I don't know if the college offers scholarships but the college has a separate section for kids with special needs which is very helpful for people.

Wilson College - Struggle but Fun

The Infrastructure is really good and recently they have built new Studio and Media Lab for Students which really helps them for the learning of Digital Softwares.
The Crowd is Decent and allows you to network a lot since Wilson has hostel facility there are many outstation students and you get an amazing versatility.

Dislikes

The Faculty of BMM is not as expected, I mean its not too bad but the HOD is not good, but Major Plus is that Wilson has Mr. Sudhakar Sir, who's the pioneer of BMM.
College's Admin Desk is not good, including all the on site office works.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees are between 26K to 31K. The rise goes maximum till 34K but not more than that. In First Year my fees were 26K, In second year they were 28K and in Third year now it is 31K. Various kinds of Scholarships are available for students but there are no college employment opportunities.

The college campus is nice and has almost all the modern facilities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is same in almost all the years of graduation. The fees is reasonable and the scholarships are provided to the needy students. Even if someone is not able to get the internship the fees is minimal at todays date.

As someone from the arts background, I can say that the tuition fees are extremely affordable for BA students with aids and scholarships for certain students. But the campus employment is below average for students studying in BA courses.

The building and architecture is one the main reason why I liked Wilson. The aesthetic of the college is so classy and gives you the colonial times experience
The location of the college which is right in front of Girgaon Chowpatty, is another attraction as many of the times lectures are held at beach which is quite exciting.

Dislikes

Slow management is one of the thing I don't like about Wilson.
Quadrangle of the college should be developed as it is very uneven ground also the basketball ground is not well maintained

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee of the course is decent which is 25000/- yearly. Comparatively it is very affordable. One can also pay it in installments. For the SC/ST quota the fee is just 600/- . Also the scholarships are available for the economically backward class students.

As arts and science are aided courses the fee is less compared to other colleges in Mumbai. Severa Scholarship opportunities are given to students and get good exposure to develop practical skills and internships are also available

Faculty is so good of chemistry every teacher is so worth of your time andoney
Infrastructure is so good you can sit in any classs and have a good comfort

Dislikes

Along with healthy food their Puri is very oily must avoid
Hostel fees is very high as it is in Mumbai posh area

The fees I can send to college is approx 4000 when I was in the first year but as it has become autonomous the fees are very high and it has been 7800 it is not very high but for the student who cannot afford it has height we have a lot of scholarship there.

The fees for BSc IT is around 23k to 25k per year, there are other scholarships and financial assistances for the student of economically weaker students. I got places in cognizant with a package of 2.52 lakh per year.

First, there was an application form which has to fill up with accurate detailed information and required documents about yourself. This information and documents clarify by the college. After clarification of documents, you get a message regarding fees. After college starts, you have to pay fees. Anyone who faces financial issues can apply for financial assistance for fees. You have the right letter with income proof.
