Every year the college celebrates xavier fest with a new and unique theme all students enjoy the fest joyfully, availability of books in every department there is a library where you get all the good books for your course
Me i think xavier's is best and yes of course you should surely enroll here

Dislikes

College canteen was not so good and tast of food was not nice
It comes to placement, college have a war record. only 20 to 25% of assistant got placed from the campus and that 2 at a very low average package.
Teaching are not that good some teachers are great but most are not that helpful

Pris and cons of St Xavier's

Likes

College ambience is good for students ,teachers are also supportive .
Library has a great number and variety of books to read
Sports is not too important and itz not that prominent for students

Dislikes

Classess timing it doesn't have a proper time schedule most of the time one class will be on 8 am then the other class will be from 1 pm so the 4 hrs is wasted because there is no class and also students get irritated and there is major loss of life
Library seating is too conjusted and it also doesn't provide wifi and books are also not arranged accordingly
Canteen food is overpriced and also sometimes itz unhygienic too

What I thought about a college its here .
Experienced and cooperative teachers and also seniors were so friendly as well
As this college is the best college in ranchi , but charges and fees structure sucks , there are so many unnecessary funds charges included in my fees

Dislikes

Fees structure sucks so bad and on verification
They used to ask for medical certificate every year
Uniform rule is not good this is a strict college

I've choosed bsc stats for good jobs as this course lands you in field of data scientist which is one of the highest paid jobs over the world. There are practical classes as well where our teachers teach excel, SQL , python .

THE XAVIER EXPERIENCE

The college campus is well cleaned and defined
There is a cafeteria in our college which gives you the rich (rahis ) vibe
SPORTS FACILITY IS GOOD BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO SECURE YOUR PLACE BY YOUR OWN IN ANY SPORTS

Dislikes

In statistics course of 2024-28 batch there are only 17 students in 60 seat . Clearly no competition in entrance exam for statistics course
The ratio of boys will be more than the girls
Faculties are helping but again you will have to do things on your own don't rely on the faculties

I had actually two options to choose after my 12th that is 1.maths. 2.statistics as I am more interested in mathematics field so I started doing some research on these two subjects and I found that it you want to go in the teaching line then you must opt mathematics and for research field also but if you want to have job in your earlys then you can opt statistics as It will open both the corporate and government sector for your job and if you higher studies in this course ghen you can go upto data scientist if you have skills or else there are several government posts like statistical investigator from (ssc CGL ) and iss (Indian statistical officer) from upsc government exam

Likes

College teachers are very supportive and helpful for students
Seniors and college professors are very helpful for guidance and counselling
Campus is very neat and clean for the students well maintain staffs

Fees is little high for average students

There is a average placement of 3 to 4 lacs and highest package goes to 6 lakhs placement is only for 5% of the students who have not failed in any of the subjects in their graduation courses rest of them are not appear in placement cells by the college.

Professors are very hardworking and dedicated towards our study. They teach us our subjects in very decent way and treat every student equally.
Hod of our department mathematics and statistics are very kind and humble.they always used to help us in our study and in every academics.

Dislikes

No fun events are conducted. If any cultural program are conducted then they give priority to only sc st community which is not fair
75% attendance are compulsory. If you have some medical issues then 60% attendance is compulsory. So for competitive basis it is not good.
