The college also provides scholarships for extraordinary students who were best in academic excellence.
Every year the college celebrates xavier fest with a new and unique theme all students enjoy the fest joyfully, availability of books in every department there is a library where you get all the good books for your course
Me i think xavier's is best and yes of course you should surely enroll here

Dislikes

College canteen was not so good and tast of food was not nice
It comes to placement, college have a war record. only 20 to 25% of assistant got placed from the campus and that 2 at a very low average package.
Teaching are not that good some teachers are great but most are not that helpful

Overall of St. Xaviers

Likes

The fact that the fee is really low is a huge plus.
They give preference to scheduled caste and other backward castes. Preference is also given to christians as it's a Christian college
College is really forward regarding Extracurricular activity

Dislikes

Campus is not that big and the building is old
Men's hostel could use some improvement.
Campus isn't all that great and classrooms are old fashioned too

Course Curriculum Overview:

CIA1 and CIA2 before sem exams. coarse itself is pretty good and syllabus is related to NTA. Firstyear is basic stuff but real world applicant studies is seen in second and third year which is deemed more interesting by the seniors. Less projects and assignments and more research would probably be more beneficial

My college life so far.

Likes

The teaching process is very nice. Arrange seminars on different topics which helps us to get knowledge on various fields.
The teachers are very helpful and they interact with each of us.
The atmosphere of the college is very peaceful. It has more than 50 trees with ample amount of greenery and fresh air.

Dislikes

The foods in the college canteen is very high.
The walking distance frome the main gate to the college is very far and it is very tiresome.
Sometimes the teachers are partial on some particular students which i personally feel should not be.

My subject is English so i feel that apart from our syllabus our professors gives us ample knowledge about everything thing related to that. They suggests us to watch movies and read books. Arranges seminars for us to learn about the world and also arranges awareness programs.

Likes

The socialisation in the campus is good enough
The campus is pretty much well maintained and clean.
You get to know about people from different citiess

Dislikes

The college does not provide much holidays.
The class hours are so long that students get exhausted.

The campus facilities and the discipline in and around the institute made me choose this university and course. The course is really fascinating if one has interest in insects and human . They provide well maintained laboratory facilities for learing through specimens and visuals.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

Likes

Sports is given importance. I have played many sports in this college and have also represented in my college in volleyball tournaments.
The faculty of my department is very knowledgeable and friendly.
Campus is peaceful to hangout with friends.

Dislikes

The campus is very small. More area should have been provided for so many students.
75% Attendance is unnessarily strict. Even if you are dead or alive you need to get 60% attendance or else you won't be allowed to give exams.
There is no unity among college's various administrative departments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had a keen interest in literature. This made me choose this curriculum in this college as it has its own standard and very efficient faculty. The curriculum focus in every aspects of the subject which is applicable in the real world and further academic pursuits. The improvements should be made in timing and completion of syllabus in which some teachers fail. Frequency of exams conducted is appropriate. The diffuculty level of these exams are moderate.

Dislikes

As displayed by the name and tag of 'XAVIERS' the faculty members and non teaching staffs have very rude persona
Faculty members are very judgemental and their favorite hobby is to kill a students self confidence

The course syllabus was very informative and obective. The course waas very much releavent to mee as used it in my internships very effectively. But these course syllabus needs to be jusified by hiring some good and well deserved faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant for contemporary needs of students. For example- the Bcom program includes accounts and accountancy-related courses which help the student to achieve a good company or they can go through any platform (CA/CS). The quality of faculty is generally well regarded, though I suggest some improvement in certain areas. The teaching methods, particularly in psychology and other arts courses, receive positive feedback for being effective.

AFTER ,5th sem the students of every departments are eligible for the placements exam that were organised by various companies in our college. The companies which comes in our college and hires are TCS, Wipro, Deloitte Accenture,etc and the offers various offer to students as per there availability. The percentage of students gets placed are 50% - 60% every year. My plans after getting the is Getting placed in good company.

The college is very good the campus is very beautiful you like it very much when you visit it. The interior of the class are mind blowing and the facilities are out standing
The college have different types of club and group in which you can participate and improve yourself
The college has a large group and three canteen and the food is of best quality

Placement Experience:

The college provides a campus placement upto 5 lpa but most of the students don't like it they want to get more paid so they apply for off-campus placement in different companies and they also do internships outside the college.
