Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

CIA1 and CIA2 before sem exams. coarse itself is pretty good and syllabus is related to NTA. Firstyear is basic stuff but real world applicant studies is seen in second and third year which is deemed more interesting by the seniors. Less projects and assignments and more research would probably be more beneficial

Fees and Financial Aid

There is 35k fee per sem and this is including all the miscellaneous fee. As this is a self financed coarse, this number is given. Other govt. aided courses can have fee as low as 8k per sem. For example, the fee for govt aided BA psychology is 9k per sem

Campus Life

4

There's youth fest, cult fest, sports meet, inter department and many other extracurricular activities. Most are done after the first sem. As it's an old college facilities and technological provisions are not that good. sports and specially football is highly forward

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Room is pretty good given that fee is as follows 12500 per sem and 2600 per month additional for mess (food). The room are alright. Meals are given 2 times a day, lunch and dinner. Meals are just below average, not all that great. Preference on hostel given too EWS and SCST and Christians

Admission

I had heard many suggestions that this college is great and personally my sister graduated from the same college. I had gotten acceptance from parul, hl college, and a few other colleges too. But this one is cheaper and has a more prominent name than other colleges in terms of placement and other aspects. I had applied to Fergusson college in Pune but the cutoff there was 93 for general non Maharashtrians and I got 91%. Admission process didn't have any hiccups and it's pretty simple. Although this college opened almost 1.5 months earlier than other colleges. Eligibility is solely based on your 12th marks and that too only the major papers

Faculty

3

The faculty is approachable and friendly. Many students stay back after classes for doubts and they are cleared by teachers if they are free. I've interacted with the science dept the most and they are friendly. Arts dept faculty is also pretty good. Coarse curriculum is relevant and according to NTA. There are CIA1 and CIA2 exams before the midsems. These are there to prepare us for the midsems and they are not that hard. 70 % students passed

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very fond of mathematics in my intermediate times that's why I chose to do my graduation from BSC Maths Honours. But I chose the wrong college for doing so, which overall ruined my life. After coming to this college, I lost my interest in studies and this is the only thing I gained from this college. So, I would recommend everybody to stay away from this college.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.
