It is not an exaggeration to say that the Economics course of Delhi University is the best in India in terms of curriculum and vigor.
Internship opportunities are numerous, as some students can work on the grounds for NGOs, while others who want to make profits can work for economic organizations.

Dislikes

The cutoffs were announced after the board results, and all those who were eligible were asked to give an interview.

St. Stephen's - the best - A comprehensive review

Likes

The infrastructure - being the old and heritage college, St. Stephen's College is surprisingly modern in respects to being a modern campus
classrooms equipped with modern projectors and screens and so on, hence making up for a comprehensive learning environment.

Dislikes

The college campus is OLD and you will feel it as there are certain parts of the campus that could use some renovation as amenities

Placement Experience:

Various MNCs visit the college every year and it does provide very good opportunites for the students to get placed and get a fair enough starting positions. The average package is around 8-10LPA.

Reflecting on my St Stephen's Journey

Likes

Rich Academic Environment: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects.
Vibrant Campus Life: This college offers a vibrant community with numerous societies, clubs and cultural events taking place every now and then.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well defined and comprehensive. The St. Stephen's College is ranked by NIRF as one of the top colleges in India for B.Sc and B.A Hons. in various subjects. The course curriculum changes every few years so that the students are getting the latest knowledge. Exams are held time-to-time in every semester and the difficulty level of exams is not very hard, it's moderate. One thing I do not like is that even after paying such high fees for tuition, we also have to pay 2500-3000rs per exam as exam fees.

Life at St. Stephens

Placement Experience:

Students can register in the campus placement cell and get job offers after the second year. They also get offers from top brands, MNCs, and startups. The highest package can reach up to 12 LPA and the average being 4-5 LPA. The degree offers me various avenues to enter into publication, marketing, content creation, and even go for master's in the same field.

Remarks:

I had always heard about St Stephen's College and dreamt of becoming a part of the English department there. My ambition is to become a filmmaker. So i thought getting to read and learn about literature in depth would help me draft good stories for my films. The one thing that I love about this college is the number of societies they have. They have around 40+ societies. The best part is that all the societies are run by students and the college doesn't play any role in the functioning of any of these societies.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of our college is fairly good, but it is not that great as the campus area is limited. Wi-Fi is also available on campus. Our classrooms support virtual learning. The library is also good, neat and clean and is best among all.
