Likes

Avesh is our major tech festival and aayam is our sports festival .
Fees - only 82400/- is the total institute fees for 4 year of b.tech which is really really less . only male and general have to play that . it is close to free of girl students
You can easily get scholarship by chhattisgarh or nsp as per your convenience .

Dislikes

Campus buildings are big and no lift so it was bad.
There is no theatre group in the college, it very disappointing for me
The theoretical part is good but practical knowledge is bad.

Insight of GEC Raipur

Likes

College provide sports activities, teachers were good.
Infrastructure is also good , they host many events as well.
College has huge library, which is best point

Dislikes

Labs are not good enough , instruments are broken
FC labs computer not in working condition
75% attendance is not helping students it's burden to them

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is average , small company come to the college, offers low packages TCS ,Wipro, etc On campus highest placement is 8 lakhs Percentage of getting placed is 50 % if you're eligible for the certain job My plan to after graduation is persuade masters degree from IIT.

Introduction Of GECR

Likes

I really like the behavior of the faculties of GECR.
NSS Unit Of GECR is very active compare then other technical college.
GECR Liberary is very comfortable for students.

Dislikes

Being a technical institute the practical facilities should be batter which is not tha case

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a technical college the entire curriculum revolve the technology. The Curriculum is designed such a way that students can solve the social problems with what they are studying and can use technology for the development of society, semester exams are held at an interval of six months. The level of the exams are also very difficult.

The college is located in a very peaceful environment which makes it easier to study and focus. The college campus is good and spacious which is very good. There is a lot of greenery in the campus which feels good and close to nature and feels relax
The students in the campus are good and the seniors in the campus are supportive and are ready to help in any matter. Teachers are supportive and the teaching is also very good. The college provides emimmense opportunities in various fields.
There are various activities which make students indulge in some kind of work which helps them to explore their interests and help in their growth. There are a lot of sports activities in the college which make students physically active and strong.

Dislikes

The canteen food in the college is not so good according to the price. The grounds of the college are not so well developed. There are no fests in the college so the students lack of their exposure.
The college does not have proper lighting so many outsiders sometimes comes inside the college. The pass out students from these college doesn't provide alumni network.
The placement from this college is not that much good. There are very less companies that approach this college which makes students wory about their future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good and teaches a lot of extra knowledge about engineering and helps us in growing. The course is surely somewhat old and is not new. As the curriculum is old it helps to manage the present things but is not sufficient for further growth and exploration for future generations. The course should be revised and should be made more interesting and new things should be added according to the growth of future generations. The teaching should be more practical than theoretical.

Is Gec Raipur is good or not for B.TECH?

In our college There is CFC and gdsc clubs are good..
Our Auditorium is Good and has seating capacity around 400

Dislikes

Ground of college is not maintained and computers are not in a working condition

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very interested for choosing EEE branch. So, I choose the eee branch in gec raipur. The curriculum is good and the required teachers are also good. Two class test will be taken in each semester each of carrying 20 marks. Generally pyqs are asked in these class test. The exam level is moderate but if you have no preparation you can not pass the exam.

I am very interested in EEE and I got EEE branch in gec Raipur. The curriculum is good and the required teachers are good. Two CT are taken in each semester. The exam level is difficult. But you can prepare before 1 month.

Likes

The club in GEC raipur is good and i liked it
The NSS group are also good and the members coordinate very well

Dislikes

The college lab are not well managed and i dislike it

I have good interest in my choosen branch so i choose the branch EEE in GEC raipur. The Curriculum is good in GEC raipur required good teachers the exam level is very hard if you have no preparation you will not pass

Placement Experience:

You will never get the full details and correct stats from any college about their campus placement. All you will know is from your seniors. And what I heard is that from now on good campus placement have started. Still, not more than 10% can get satisfied campus placements. But not to worry because nowadays we have opportunities to get placements.

Review for the govt engineering college

Remarks:

As it is clear from its name this is a government institution and that's why it posses some government order like less influence of outer political groups etc, which prevents students from having different habits apart from study. This college is good in terms of study, fee structure etc. So this is worth taking admisaion
