GEC Raipur offers BTech programs in five specializations, each with a duration of four years. To be eligible for admission, candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks (40% in the case of the reserved categories) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The final selection is based on the Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test or JEE Mains.

For admission through the BTech Lateral program, the candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in a 3-year Diploma course.

CGPET application form is filled through cgvyapam website, there is no exam fees for anyone the exam fees is totally free. Further counseling is done in cgdte website There is no reservation benifit only merit base admission is available. Duration of exam is 3 hours . Campus admission process can be improved.
