Government engineering College Raipur. The college is also provides hostel for students.

Hostel Facilities:

There also have hostel for students. There are two hostel. It's seat will be 250 students approximately. Hostel mess is good. Workers are good. So I am also eat breakfast , lunch and dinner in hostel mess.

Hostel is very nice there is flat type Hostel i.e a flat is given to 3-4 students and there is one kitchen bathroom and 2 rooms.we have warden also.infrastructure is very good there is badminton Court also

Life at GEC Raipur

Campus Life:

The college offers several clubs to join and be a part of, with each club having their own presidents to delegate club responsibilites. Some were: NSS and NCC, Suruchi (Singing club), Pixels( Photography club), Dance club, sports clubs, Language club. Club events were frequently organised and open to all GEC students. The annual fests were AVESH(cultural) and AAYAM (sports) which would be held around the month of febraury- march. The library offers unlimited resources. Students need not buy any new books. Instead the college library provides coursebooks free of cost to all students. General category students are allowed a maximum of 5 books whereas SC/ST are allowed 8 books to be issued under their name. The campus offers various sports facilities, with new and top of the line equipment and kits. A new order of equipment is sent out every year right before the sports fest. Further, sports teams represent their college at intercollege and zonal tournaments, and can go on for university team tryouts.

Unbiased Honest review of GEC Raipur

annual tech fest is called Aavesh and annual sport fest is called aayam they are held in between january to june the library is divided into 2 parts 1 part is open for all and anybody can issue the books from there and there is a special section from where only st,sc can issue the books others can only read there. As every college it also has a working projector and a geen board and awhite board . only for a limited time sports are allowed during the fest . there are two student run social groups and they take a stand for students wellfare.

Insight of GEC Raipur

The name of annual fest in our college is aavesh And sports fest is aayam The gap between them is 6 months Library is easily accessible and best places in college the library has all things books computer etc which needs to students for study. Technical provisions are average rather than say it bellow average. Sports has great. Impact on college so college focus on it. There are NSS group, code for community , music club name surbhi, lok for language interpretation, and many more which impact students.

Introduction Of GECR

Atmosphere of government Engineering college raipur is very positive, Smart class rooms are available, Teachers, Hod, and Principal are very supportive. Every year organised the tech fest "Aayam" and Sports Fest "Aavesh" Liberary is very helpful for students, many types of books are available, Liberary staff are also very supportive. NSS unit is the most active social group of GECR, and other social groups run by students are - GDSC, Language Club etc.

Gec Raipur Review

The campus life is good and engaging. There are lots of activities in the college which will make you included in the college. You will meet lots of people with different thoughts and will give you new ideas. The social life is also very good. The students are actively involved in the clubs and activities in the college. The college infrastructure is limited there is need for more infrastructure development.

Gec raipur review

Hostel allocation is pending for more than half year now . It would be great to get hostel in near future. Pg and rental apartments are although available near college. Don't go for RM HOSTEL( privet hostel ) .

Life as a 3rd Year Engineering Student at GEC Raipur

Campus life as awesomen . Zero Resticness on doing any things . Avesh is our major tech festival and aayam is our sports festival . Having a vast fully air conditioning library . Each class of having 60 students had 3 AC and smart board in there respective classes. You can find all different types of club for coding , music , sports etc
