Life at GEC Raipur

Fees and Financial Aid:

Students belonging to SC/ST category are granted a tuition fee waiver and are eligible for scholarships to cover their expenses as well, whereas OBC-NCL students receive a 30% fee concession. In accordance to the "Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao" scheme, a tuition fee waiver is offered to girls of all categories as well. Hence, all category students need only pay a complusory of 2650/- rs. that includes lab charges, library fee, development charges etc. Male students from General category during admission need to pay 18,000/- rs. along with the compulsory charges as annual fee, which can be reimbursed given that they are amongst the top 3 in their respective branches (merit scholarship). Stationary (notebooks, geometry sets, chart paper, drawing board etc.) is also provided free of cost to SC/ST students on behalf of the college. As a general category girl, I had to pay zero tuition fees. This system has not changed over the years and continues to strive towards affordability.

While taking admission we pay 2,000 as admission and development and other fee included in it and tution fee is 18,000 every year and every year admission fee from 2nd year is 1890. OBC , SC , ST are given scholarship of 21000 which they use to pay their fees . top 3 general category students of each branch gets a total fee wavier

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tution fees is is 9000 rs per semester And yearly it is 18000 rs Admission fees is about 2100rs Caution money 1000 rs Lab fees is 500 rs But if you are belongs from sc/st category then tution fees is 100% off If you are girl or from OBC category with the annual income of less than 300000 rs then your fees will be also off 100% . But if you're parents are government servent then you have to pay all the tution fees. My branch mates pays only 2800 rs because some of them belongs from st/school category I paid 21000 rs because I don't have income certificate. They are many scholarship like NSP, fees waiver, merit based cum, and many more. Maximum scholarship amount vary between 15000-30000rs.

The college one year total fees is 18000 rs for boys. The college is provides girl free education. There is also available Chhattisgarh post matric scholarship. The complete one year cost of my education 20000 .

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure is very good and economical. The tution fees does not hike at all. All the fees from first year to fourth year remains same which benefits a lot to students. The total fees for a general student is around eighty four thousand for four years. There are lots of scholarship available for the reservation categories for their help in studies. The fees for girls in this college is zero and infact they get scholarship from college side. Overall the fee structure is very good.

The best part about the college is , it doesn't pressurize parent's pocket much as 1 year fees is 20 k . And most of the students get covered under scholarship, and you can even pay semester fee 4_6 late too

In terms of fees it the excellent. It the most value for money college toh can find with that rank . 18000/- is the institute and like 2500/- for University charges . You can easily get scholarship by chhattisgarh or NSP as per your convenience . Which is more than the fees .

Government College Review

Fees and Financial Aid:

There's no hostel facility in the college till now and the course fee is 19890 rs yearly. We get scholarship for OBC category that is equal to college fee we didn't get any extra benefits. Overall it's a government college so its affordable.
