In the college, hostel should provide the poor facilities to the students.
Previously gmrit is known for its placements but due to recession and gradual increase in unemployment the placement rate has completely degraded so to overcome this the college is trying to employ the students in its own companies.
Boys and girls washroom are side by side which is insecure those locate in civil block and mechanical block

Nice Recommended college.

Likes

College life is very happy and provides good infrastructure and environmental.
Faculty are also encouraged the students every time we go to ask questions.
Placements are properly conducted by the placement cell group.

Dislikes

More syllabus completion in less time and hard to complete.
Fee structure is not good and need to implement and student know properly.
Sports should be more implement and conduct very nicely without any student details.

Placement Experience:

All the students are access to participate in the placement drives in the final year only. Totally 50 to 60 companies are visited our college every year. And offered more than 1000 opportunities are available. companies like tcs, Capgemini ADP, happiest minds,brosch, Infosys, Cisco, modchip, Wipro, cognizant, etc. Our college's highest package is 42 lakhs per annum with CTC in the past year selected to Amazon and the average is 4 lakh per annum.89 percent of students are placed every year on average.

My Perspective on GMRIT

Likes

Campus Life in GMRIT i have very much liked in the college because of the infrastructure and facilities provided by the college.
And the college secured a title called the clean and smart campus in two successive years.
Infrastructure of the college, wifi availability throughout the campus.

Dislikes

Strict rules in the campus and in the hostel arena.
Sometimes the food in the mess is not at all nice.
Practical Knowledge is Insufficient and the students need more based on the current outside situation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course because of the boom in computer science nowadays and the faculty-student ratio is very nice and the way of teaching and practical way of learning is very nice and the way of conducting and the pattern of examinations was very nice making the maximum number of students get passed.

Affordable Nature of GMRIT

Likes

Infrastructure is quiet Good in the campus
Coordination with the faculty is good and healthy
There is FSI (Full Semester Internship) in the college as no college offers it

Dislikes

They take time to complete the course as soon as possible
The hostel fees is not afferdable and not upto the mark.
The hostel fees is too high in the campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quiet good as the students will go to there internship for one sem either in 7 or 8. The campus placements will come at 7th sem onwards.There are lot of companies visiting to the campus but the highest package is 36lpa in Amazon

Likes

Our provide lots of freedom and there is no ragging in our campus and college environment is very pleasent.
We have gym badminton indoor stadium and cricket ground.
We have very big library and we have auditorium which can hold atleast 400 people.

Dislikes

Coming to last year placements there is little dislikement .
College rules are some what very strict.
Not giving permissions to go out after 6pm

Placement Experience:

Coming to placements we provide a good number of placements. Last year about 70%people were placed in different companies and eligibility for placement is 6.5Cgpa. The highest package offered is 35lpa by Amazon.

Green and clean campus. Our campus ranked second in terms of greenery and cleanery.
Relationship between student and faculty is very good.
Strict rules makes students more discipline.

Dislikes

Uniform is like school children's uniform.
Didn't take proper responsibility when student is suffering from some issue.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester students with no backlog will be eligible for the placements. Many companies will visit our institution. The average package for our college is 4.5 lpa. Above 90 percent of our students will be placed every year.

I choose my course information technology on the basis of my own interest. In gmr the faculty is good and the faculty-student ratio is around 1:30. The qualification of ass professors is minimum MTech and all the professors are PhDs.the exams here are quite good and there is good time available before exams to prepare and write exams well.

Yes, lateral entry is available in this college for the B.Tech course. The eligibility for the same is 10+3 along with the scores of the ECET entrance exam.
