GMRIT Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

The college offers various scholarships and financial assistance based on EAPCET ranks and academic performance. Students securing a rank below 5000 in EAPCET are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver and a 50% reduction in hostel fees, while those with ranks between 5000 and 10000 receive full tuition coverage and a 25% hostel fee reduction. Ranks between 10000 and 15000 qualify for a scholarship of INR 16,000 annually. The Andhra Pradesh government provides the Jagananna Vidya Deevena (JVD) scheme, covering the entire tuition fee of INR 66,000 for eligible students.

Additionally, a merit scholarship of INR 10,000 is awarded to students maintaining a CGPA above 9.0 and 90% attendance. For financially backward students, the GMR Varalaxmi Foundation offers loans with zero interest. Fees for management quota students are significantly higher, around INR 2,00,000 per year. The college also provides financial support for educational loans through various banks.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Merit -cum -need ? 25k- ? 50 k / yr , Govt Sc and St full wavier + ? 12k stipend, private trust aid ? 10 k - ? 30 k . Fees have been increasing by ~5% every 2 years. Complete course fee for 4 years is ?6,10,000 approximately.

Firstly I have paid tution fee 12950 during my admission.for hostel fee i have paid 40,000 rupess for a semester to that i have paid 5000 registers fee which is only while joining the hostels, it is not applicable for every year, and it is returned after 4 years. so per year the hostel fee 80,000.which same fee for the 2nd year also.but due increasing of expenses our fee is incremented to 2500 to the hostel fee during my 3rd year.admission fees or college fees i belong fee reimbursement i got the 1st term fee 18,150 by the government. remaining 54450 is paid by us to the college.for 2nd year and 3rd year we have not paid the college fee.it will paid to the college by government.A s i belongs to the ST category i have not paid any other compulsory charges. even my benchmates also never paid compulsory charges based on the category even they are belongs to ST or SC category.there is such a kind discrimination of castes in college all are equal.scolarship is provided for the top scored students from each branch with 10000 rupees,and also for the students who have the more attendance for the academic year with 500 ruppes

GMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY provides Good teaching , green campus , strong placements and supportive faculty , strict dress and hostel rules ,far from city,few hangout options .Active clubs , decent hostels ,girls to boys ratio 36:65 .

Life at GMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY -Lushcampus

In addition to caution, registration, admission, development and , lab fees , GMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY charges approximately ?72,600 annually from government and ?1.1-?1.25 lakhs for management quota students. These have been steadily rising,but scholarships like EAPCET rank - based concessions.

Campus facilities, girls hostel fee & restrictions in gmrit

Well my father is a army officer and the year fee of collge is 72600 and additional to that every one need to pay 13450 for building fund every year and also the exams fee for every semester each 2250 and for chemistry lab there is a lab fee which is around 80-100 and there are uniform charges per pair we need to pay 800 and for jvd students who get scholarship from government are paying building fund and hostel fee if they are going to stay in hostel and as per my knowledge the bus fee is around 22000-25000 based on our destination I got seat in this college due to OBC certificate and fees are little high. But our college provide give some support for merit based students

Well hostel fee is 1 lakh 4 thousand it is very high for middle class student but the our college provides very good facility and also I got scholarship by government by getting rank and also by be in below poverty line and the others who are paying management fees are 2.5 lakh for cse and also our college provides merit based prizes at end of the year it's been organized nice in annual day and I am paying college fee by semester wise and also the college life is very good and bus fee is 25000 per year based of the destination it may reduce and exam fee is 2250 it is very high but our college maintains a trust so fees are used for poor people and our collge is best college
