Transperancy in fee breakup like clear mention of tuition,lab, development

Fee hikes like regular 5% increase every 2 years adds pressure on family
Category disparity for management quota students
Limited aid coverage for scholarships don't fully cover living expenses

Applied to Andhra University, Gayathri vidhya parshad college; got admission in both,chose this college for faculty and placements. Missed sem due to cutoff. Admission via CET/Jee , cutoff -85% , smooth process, transparent and student friendly.

I appreciate the hygiene maintained in my college and hostel is very good as per compared to any other colleges and the way they provide the study environment so good and the things are to improve is scheduling tasks is to be improved
Iam a member in a student Professional Student Chapter Computer Society of India.where there are several technical events are held by us improve to technical skills and communication skills, also involved actively in college fest.
Faculty members have good knowledge. Teaching includes Lectures,presentations,labs, and experiments.faculty provide good academic and career guidancee

Admission:

I applied to the colleges GMRIT ,JNTUGV,AU and some colleges. I got eligibility int the gmrit college. Iam not rejected by other colleges those are my second priority I got. the admission process is to attempt the EAMCET Exam

Tight regulations and discipline similar to the school
Placement difficulties in the past few years by the recession
Location and restricted off campus atmosphere

Admission:

I choose GMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY for ECE over srkr, aditya etc due to its greenery campus,modern infrastructure, supportive faculty, strong placements, cooperating faculty, excellent placement record of 90 percent and promixity to home.Eamcet rank of less than 10k got me here,but i couldn't get premier seats in vit-ap,and SRM ap , JNTUK joining through ap EAMCET counselling.

Campus facilities, girls hostel fee & restrictions in gmrit

The things I liked in my college the security for girls is very high and they don't allow any male person to enter into the room of girls even that is your father and they take responsibility for everything about us
Some faculty treat as their child and they provide good knowledge and ideas about projects and hackathons and support us to be good at academics too and guide us to become a great person and also our college motivates students to be best
The college runs a trust and also they bring reputated companies like infosys and tcs recently tcs official visited our company and interacted with us I am happy to be the part of gmr family

Dislikes

I don't like mess food and rooms in girls hostels because they didn't update the hostel they are too old the switches and etc are too old i don't like it I often afraid of it the floors don't have tails and I hate it when it comes to rooms
I don't like fee structure they are too high and they force us to pay fee compulsory within amount of time and they sure give deadlines to pay fee if don't pay the fee they immediately add some fine too it it's kind of furstating
I don't like course curriculum and it is old because it doesn't follow industry relevant subjects and college won't give any idea about real world problems and it doesn't help us to make good projects

Admission:

Well in EAMCET counselling i applied for several colleges across the ap and most of that I want to be in anits collge which is in vizag but I got this college in my counselling but I never regret to be in gmrit and well my rank is not enough to get the seat in Anits collge but exams are moderate as I said before you can easily score by previous year papers and overall admission process is quite good and our collge accepts cse below 10k rank you can easily get the seat of you are good enough score marks in EAMCET and my college helps a lot of people and have several connections with reputated companies which is quite helpful to students to get new jobs

Campus life in gmrit and placements in gmrit

Likes

I liked the lab and library facilities and our college supports students to participate in hackathons and also the professors are quite helpful and campus life is quite good they conduct events about technical aspects
Our college professors are quite helpful some did good projects and they have industry exposure and also we have excellent facilitiy 24 hours current and water facility which is way more helpful for students
College been constructing new buildings and also best thing is our college runs a charity and helps good students merit students and recently suda murthy garu and gmr garu visited our campus and give bags to those little children

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty pressure to join in the events they only Organize so many technical events that is quite cause irritation for the students
I don't like the management support for the students who have really a problem due to health and etc they don't support those students they simply don't promote to next semester to attendance cause
Our college is very strict they don't help to students they want discipline and etc and our college mentality is kind of old style they don't allow students to perform excellent cultural programs they only want every thing to be professional

Well i love this college because of discipline and facilities and I do not want to be in any other college because our college provides excellent placement support and follows very good ethics and dress code is excellent for the students and I love it to be in rural area and people here we met are awesome persons I choose this college because of faculty we can get excellent knowledge if we discuss our ideas with them and we have 2 mid exams oke sem exam both are quite moderate but considered to be helpful but as I said before it is worth to be in gmrit

Good academics and placements, but hotel facilities need improvement
Active campus life with good peer interaction and student clubs

Good placements with training but limited core roles
limited hostel amenities and occasional lab equipmet shortages
curriculum is theory-heavy with limited industry exposure

i chose GMRIT for its strong academics ,placements ,and disciplined campus over others .i applied to few colleges but couldnot secure top options due to rank cutoffs GMRIT admission is through EAMCET ,with merit-based eligibility and a smooth process

college with benefits

Likes

the maintenance and cleanliness is appreciable and in labs the system are not working well so I want to need that improvement
the campus life is very good and the quality of social life and interactions is so much better
the faculty's with good communication skills and teaching methods are impressed me a lot

Dislikes

some where ppt usage by faculty is more that is not good i think
very strict rules are applied even for small mistakes
I want more extra circular activities non technical wise

Admission:

i didnt apply to any other colleges . I choose this college because the teaching is very good here ,placements also better compared to other colleges and they provide all things to studies like library.

Well structure curriculum align with JNTU guidelines
Good faculty support especially in core branches like CSE mechanical and eee
Large clean and green campus with a peaceful living environment

Dislikes

Very strict attendance policies 75% mind it
Limited of flexibility in class timings and internal assessment
Fees increases slightly at almost every year

Admission:

I chose gmrit or other colleges mainly because of its strong academic reputation display and learning environment and a good placement support the college of us well structured curriculum aligned with JNTU

Honest experience of GMRIT

Likes

I like GMRIT a lot because it is well known for its sports facilities. We can find almost all the equipment's needed for different games. A indoor gym is also available accessible for both students and faculty.
The nature around the campus is environment friendly with lot of greenery.
The faculty are friendly and approachable. They clarify doubts with much patience.

Dislikes

There are not many events and fests like other colleges. There are 2 only major events: Stepcone and Annual day
Hostel Girls have no outing. They can only go out if they want to go home.

Admission:

When i applied in the Eamcet based ranking i applied for colleges like GVP, Anits, GMRIT, Sivani, Aitam, MVGR,etc Out of which i got GMRIT. I got a rank of 10000 and I belong to OC. so i didnt make it in Anits and GVP because of my rank. The admission process of my college is based on the cutoff rank which is different for different caste and different branches. And students can also join through management quota.
