Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (PVPSIT), established in 1998 and affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, is one of the top-ranking private Engineering Institutes of India. For B. Tech and B. Tech Lateral Entry Programmes, the candidates must sit for EAMCET and ECET exams, respectively, that are conducted online by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The marks obtained in these exams are considered for admission to the respective streams under B. Tech and B. Tech Lateral Entry Programmes.
For M. Tech Programmes, the marks obtained in PGECET exams are considered for admission of candidates to PVPSIT. This exam is conducted online by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The GATE Score is also considered for admission to different M. Tech courses at PVPSIT.

The admission process is of two types. one is through eamcet and the other is by management quota. Mostly 70% of the students are by eamcet quota. The cutoffs differ by reservation but the minimum rank needed to be 15k.

Our college has best environment and the fee structure is better than the universitoes but the study is top notch no doubt in that every thing is perfect here and overall admission process and consideration of emcet scholarship is one of the main region

Admission:
You need to apply in eamcet counselling. And the cutoff mark for ece at my time is 14,000 for oc . But now it may vary like it may be 10,000 or may be 15,000 also. If a person is reserved candidate it may vary based on their reservation. The reserved candidates will be given preference than general in counselling by government. The exams timming and frequency will be as every college like two times internals for regular subjects, and one internal lab and one external lab and one sem.
