REVIEW OF OUR COLLEGE

I took admission in this college through the entrance exam eamcet which was taken by Andhra Pradesh. The entrance counseling process took too much time and delay which is very annoying. The seat allotment is based on the reservation process only. This reservation system should be rechecked completely because students with lower castes are taking too much advantage of reservations and getting easy allotment than hard-working students.

I choose my course information technology on the basis of my own interest. In gmr the faculty is good and the faculty-student ratio is around 1:30. The qualification of ass professors is minimum MTech and all the professors are PhDs.the exams here are quite good and there is good time available before exams to prepare and write exams well.

Gmr takes around 1lakh per year (college fee and other fees) for almost all BTech courses. And the hostel fee is 1lakh per year and there is availability of private hostels with good fees. I am getting jaganna Vidya dheevena which will completely cover all the necessary college fee of 66000.

The gmr college life is good with filling max all needs of students. The annual fest will be celebrated grandly in college with cultural, good dance performances, and enjoyment. The annual fest is celebrated around Feb - March of every year. In between, there are tech fests, a step cone which is celebrated grandly every year with lots of participants coming from all over the country and it will be awesome. The libraries present here are good and there is a digital library with 30 members sitting and high speed wifi facility. The main library has many journals, books, all the textbooks required for our subjects and knowledge. GMR has very good sports facilities in comparison with the remaining colleges belonging to coastal Andhra. There are competitions between different franchises in all sports. and winners will be awarded. Every year there will faculty premier league where we can see branch-wise faculty matches and student premiere leagues and section-wise matches.
