Likes

Campus Life in GMRIT i have very much liked in the college because of the infrastructure and facilities provided by the college.
And the college secured a title called the clean and smart campus in two successive years.
Infrastructure of the college, wifi availability throughout the campus.

Dislikes

Strict rules in the campus and in the hostel arena.
Sometimes the food in the mess is not at all nice.
Practical Knowledge is Insufficient and the students need more based on the current outside situation.

I've chosen this course because of the boom in computer science nowadays and the faculty-student ratio is very nice and the way of teaching and practical way of learning is very nice and the way of conducting and the pattern of examinations was very nice making the maximum number of students get passed.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be no hike in the college fee and the students who get a cgpa higher than 9 and maintain attendance above 90 percent will get a scholarship from the college at the end of the academic year. Till now I haven't secured a job on campus.

Campus Life

Life at the GMRIT campus will be very nice the infrastructure and the nature around and on the campus is very nice and superb. And the classrooms and the labs are fully equipped and the sports arena and the indoor stadium in the campus is a boon to the students the library and auditorium is the center of attraction and a lot number of books and journals are available in the library and including a digital library too and a wide variety of student clubs and organizations in the college like CSI, ISTE, GDSC and ACM, etc.. empower students to build and enhance their skills. And every year in the month of January a National level fest STEPCONE will be organized on the campus and the annual day will be celebrated in the month of April every year.

Admission

I have written the AP Eamcet Examination and secured a rank of 14773. I've gone through the counselling process and I've been allotted to GMRIT in the Information Technology branch and the reporting and joining process went very well at the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit with decent offers. Average package is good and many students get placed. After my degree, I plan to enter the tech industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

Placements are good in our college and the Teachers said that all the information when give career guidance how to attend our interviews in placements time and how to crack a exam percentage of student is based on 7.5 CGPA must be included and my plans after degree to get a job and improve my skills and go further.
