The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical aspects relevant to the industry . Subjects like english helped shape my understanding and influenced my choice . The curriculum includes updated content

The course curriculum system of the University is very nice I like it and I hope I would be able to graduate from this university . The teachers and all the workers of the University are very friendly and polite . I know that also very famous writers were graduated from this university.

The course curriculum is good the syllabus is updated one. All the relevant topics ase included which is essential to get the vast knowledge. Timing is a bit short but the regular classes help in completing the course.

The students who were passed out from that college said a lot of positive things about that course. It prepares us for real world by giving different activities. As I said if should be better in infrastructure. One day before weekend they conduct exams like class test and after 5 months of semester there is a final semester exam

Actually I started liking the subject Economics from my 12th and to be very honest, our university is the most famous one in Jorhat thatsway every single student had once dreamt of studying in it and I do have that. So I fulfilled my dream. About the course it's good. The curriculum help us to know about real world experiments like before choosing this course I don't have idea about what's happening and what actually happens to our economy, certain terms like GDP, National income etc I've not heard before. After choosing this course I've learnt that.

I will rate it 7 cause lengthy course less classes, Exam timing are vast others colleges held there exam on the last month of the year but our college held there exam on the 3rd month of the semester overall not good

Basically in assam, very few colleges provide B.com honours and there is almost no fee wavier in any of those. The exams are necessary for development as in my previous college we only give finals with no wah to check our preparation and ultimately the result gets worse. Here you have a way to know how ready you are for your exams. The course is easy if you try enough.

I choose history as a major subject soo its very interesting to know the past civilisation of india and world. This course mainly help me to make good decisions The material for study is hard to find for us and book at library are not available all the time which creates problems for us Exam held on time to time regularly difficulties we are faced is checking pattern of the paper cause very strictly check the paper that's why a lot of students are just passed not scoring and maintaining there cgpa

For me personally I don't think I would have been offered anything better then this at this price,I think even though it's an government college but it actually provides students with quality education and they also have NCC in the college for both boys and girls which allows us to grab on more opportunities.
